I really wanted to like Nodame, but the fucking MC was a totally unlikable character who basically did everything wrong for little to no justification.

We all hated it at first and then ended up loving it.

Because at first all you hear is her voice and how fork-down-a-chalkboard it is, and how the background "lalala" is all distorted and weird.

Then, as you get over that, you start noticing how fantastically composed it is.

The problem is that you're trying to find the "norm", that you're trying to "fit in".

Be yourself, don't try to please us, don't try to do things the way "we do", don't be afraid of sticking out.

If you try to "fit in" you will stick out like a sore thumb, if you just try to hang out you will stick out like a thumb. Get it?

It's just a bunch of individuals clashing together and the only thing that holds us together is that we are interested in anime.

Coincidentally, as far as I can recall, that was the first anime I watched as well. I don't plan on rewatching it any time soon, though.

Berserk should have been in the OP instead of it but Berserk didn't air in the last two years so Chaika got in instead.

Pretty good. Rushed conclusion in the second season.

they have different personalities
