Persona 4 the game is basically a playable anime tbh
Last week I finally gave up and bought a Vita, so I guess I should start playing the Persona series.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/BaJ8H4h.jpg[/t] About that nendroid I was talking about, it's here. The arm joint on the left side is really loose though, otherwise it's pretty good. Hopefully it's the only nendroid I get.
nice figurine nerd Man catching up 700 posts, not reading this thread that much since i'm 1.5 seasons behind...
Last week I finally gave up and bought a Vita, so I guess I should start playing the Persona series.
I'm enjoying Persona 4. And honestly I really like the Vita, I don't know why it gets so much hate. I honestly prefer it to the 3DS.
Since I was playing War Thunder Tanks alot I decided to watch Panzer und Girls what the fuck did i just watch and why did I enjoy it. Can't say I was misadvertised cause it is literally is just girls and tanks. And well, they did make me more intrested in the inner workings of a tank so that's good.
[t]http://puu.sh/grMJg/3325d71592.jpg[/t] anyone got a link to this vid?
Sadly, yes. Both the violator and violated voice characters in the game. The dude with glasses is Yu and the one who can't get enough of Teddie is Kanji.
I started watching Michiko to Hatchin the setting reminds me of City of God
Cross Ange 22 [sp]How the FUCK is Tusk alive? They never say anyhting about it. Also laughed my ass off after they bang and Ange just drops a "I just tried to kill myself"[/sp]

Tusk used the Body Replacement Technique (Kawarimi no Jutsu) and an anti-explosive cloak using a fire jutsu (Katon no Jutsu). Momoka used a frying pan and mana to slow her fall. https://twitter.com/fukuda320/status/574288336254169088 Tusk knew where Ange's destination was, so he rendezvoused with Momoka who was stuck in a tree. And they came back to the island on a fishing boat…the end. The director said "Eh? Is this really ok?", and did oppose this idea, but Higuchi-san, the producers, and I agreed on this development. https://twitter.com/fukuda320/status/574289419907129346 The highlight of this episode is Ange's change of awareness and determination. We've been watching her change since episode one. So Tusk being alive is very important and how he managed to survive is not. There is no drama in that.[/sp] Yeah it was an asspull, still amazing episode though
Was it particularly good? I've seen so much of its content but nothing ever pushed me to actually watch it.
It was good-ish I suppose. Some predictable moments(although this is a common problem with many things). It's a bit... silly to say the least though. Only about 12 episodes that run for 20 minutes, that is a good thing in a way cause it doesn't overstay. Its worth a watch if you like tanks and anime I guess?
Was it particularly good? I've seen so much of its content but nothing ever pushed me to actually watch it.
Not really. Half the series is recap episodes because it faced a billion and one issues when it was airing, where there was even like a 6 month delay between episodes. It's basically just a cash grab to sell tank model kits in Japan. Then it was used to market World of Tanks in Japan.

That isn't really a deciding factor in whether they should watch it or not because the finale was two years ago now, and the recaps aren't included on the BD. [editline]9th March 2015[/editline] Also the girls and warmachines movie is having production issues because the director is too busy right now directing an anime about an anime director having production issues with an anime about girls and warmachines.
So this weekend it's been WeebCon here in my autonomous community and I had no money so I now owe it to friends but that's ok because now I have angry ryuuko near the bed header and looks quite good tbh. Also met a guy who is a founder of a group who watches anime episodes on fridays and does subs, seemed like a nice person, I'll probably go to the next one outta curiosity. It was a nice weekend.

A recap in a 24-26 episode series is fucking ridiculous. A 12 episode series having 2 of them is absolutely bonkers.

Shirobako's Exodus OVA is out. I found it a little disappointing. [sp] It's meant to be the first episode of Exodus, the anime they worked on in the first cour, and if that's the case, it wan an entirely disappointing and nonsensical first episode, with too many cliches and too much forced bullshit. Many people would drop it off the bat, and it would have to pick itself up in some kind of amazing manner to pass the 3EP rule for the rest of the viewers.[/sp]
Can I just start reading some other (self-contained?) JoJo part while stardust crusaders is still being aired?
Can I just start reading some other (self-contained?) It's a Samurai Flamenco-tier trainwreck.

But since the series is finished and the recaps are either on a seperate disc or even not included in some releases, what's the point of considering the recaps when asking yourself 'Do I want to watch this series?' And you still get 12 episodes of content, the recaps aren't included in that count.

Some guest passes for Crunchyroll cause I have 2 pages of passes gone expired and just recently remembered that Fast Anime existed. Last I checked you get 10 episodes of content and a handfull of softcore porno OVA's.

like even if you ignore the awful fucking production cycle for the series, its still not even any good. Only reason you ought to watch it is if you like to beat your meat to pseudo-realistic WWII tanks.
