Also on episode 50 of gintama, so far it's pretty good but I wish the arcs were a bit longer. I don't mind the episodic or 1-2 episode arcs with references to older episodes; but I seriously hope all 200 eps aren't like this.

What, an opponent who deserves to win far more than them beats them left and right, then they contrive a victory? At least Tryon was cool and there was only one bullshit moment of contrivance. Unfortunately you couldn't buy a sandwich with Try's budget so next episode it's back to stalling until the 17 minute mark and then having a barely animated one-sided fight with no teamwork and the main characters brute forcing their way to victory while their opponents become mentally disabled when the plot dictates it.

I really wish we had more details on that, I have no idea if it's going to be an adventure series close to the original, or be Personamon and be all high school.

I've recently gotten into the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni manga. Pretty fucked up series, but I like it for that. Each story gives you the time to develop characters and solve the mystery [sp]until they all get murdered[/sp]. It's as if Stephen King got together with a Japanese writer to do a wild ride of horror, mystery, comedy, and suspense with a hint of [sp]Groundhog Day[/sp]. Haven't watched the anime, but people tell my that it's good.
My only complaint is that the manga order is hard to follow, and some sites don't translate whole chapters in a volume.

this is normal, it's part of what makes the answer arcs so effective
also yes, the anime is pretty good. As long as you either skip Kira or go into it knowing full well it's gonna be fanservice wank for three episodes with only one really good episode at the end.

I know I say this all the time but I'm not particularly fond of the thought of rewatching series, let alone 40-50+ones, unless they have compilation movies. But with that said I haven't brung myself to ever watching any for Gundam.

The trick is to wait a year then watch the BD versions with somebody who hasn't seen the series before. That's how I rewatched 0079 in glorious 1080p.
I'm still waiting on the full BDs for Turn A before I start that series.

It's the order that i have problems remembering. I'd hate to accidentally run into an answer arc and be spoiled. I'm still putting pieces together and running into walls even after a little peek at the characters via tvtropes.
Also want to point out that some of the horror revelations and [sp]deaths [/sp] are really well done and very terrifying. Again, makes me feel like I'm reading a Stephen King novel. The art style of these moments look like they were done by Stephen Gammell; charcoal pencils mixed with dark ink and [I]dripping [/I] with dread.
