Does anyone else have trouble using Kissanime? After about 5 minutes if video my entire browser becomes laggy as fuck, and adobe flash player is using up 2GB of ram. It only happens with anime on this site for some reason.
Can't find anywhere else to watch Psycho Pass -_-
this is late as hell but hide the ads (specifically the 2 video ads at the top)

I solved it. I just acquire the show through other means, namely Netflix.

it's too dark and shiny and it was made in 1999 and it stinks of PVC but i'm happy
"buh-buh-but dchapsfield, didn't you say you couldn't afford annie may figures??"
i couldn't, until i found this ancient relic for $30. it literally cannot stand straight up and down because its legs are permanently bowed. my sister and partner are going to japan soon so the hope is that i might give her some dosh to scope out any other cheap toys where the market is flooded and there are no import costs.
2/10.
It's not even dancing.
Watching Love Live.
its fine.
I'm currently rewatching both seasons due to the upcoming movie. Somehow they feel kind of better than they did when I watched them for the first time, which confuses me because I was expecting to experience the opposite.

Wow, looks great. I'll be looking forward to this.

An anime may come since this is a mixed media project. But the PV is for the game's cutscenes"

pack it up everybody go home
Anyone else still watching Saekano?
Somehow i'm really liking it now. A rare case when harem doesn't suck despite being so blatantly harem.
Saekano actually feels like it's playing around with the harem element and twists that fact into something quite pleasant to watch.
Latest episode (9) was especially good.
I also caught up with Log horizon. Looks like it's finally moving somewhere. Problem is though that there are only 2(?) episodes left.
Saekano is pretty alright. not really much else to say about it.
I just finished reading Shigatsu [sp]Why does it have to be so sad? ;^;[/sp]
So apparently, I catched up FullMetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

Apparently? So you don't know? Did you or did you not watch FMA:B
Varg666 is such a nice a example of a perfectly healthy human being in an otherwise disgusting pile of Pedos and dogfuckers, you all need to take an example of him and look up to him.
it might not be too late for you.

not good
I have a tendency to listen to Hacking to the Gate on repeat while doing a programming lab. As such, I've spent the last 2 and a half hours listening to it, and am liable to spend at least another hour as well.
I'm talking about the english dub.

this just reminds me of how bad the english dub is
maybe i haven't heard enough dubs to judge what's worse or better, but at least to my ears, the NGE dub is pretty unfortunate
I still like 4kids evangelion

Maybe Netflix made a mistake? I'm confused.
Maybe Netflix made a mistake? I'm confused.
netflix separated it into seasons arbitrarily and also doesn't have the last like 20 episodes.
It's about time that magical dudes anime got (spoilered for paranoia) [sp]some proper fight scenes.[/sp] Of course it's about the most trivial thing though.
i finished yuuki yuuna
[sp]
after hearing all about how it has the same pretense as madoka i gave it a shot
and im going to compare it to madoka because every mahou shoujo deconstruction these days is
i liked the premise, it had some real potential for internal and character vs. character struggle, moral and ethical depth "how far would you sacrifice yourself or your friends to protect complete strangers", while pushing that cliche but workable strong message of friendship and love
but then they fukked it up
pacing was all over the place, and the "darkness" is revealed at the end of ep 8, leaving only 4 episodes to go venture into anything remotely interesting regarding the world they live in/its dark reality
plot reveals were done terribly. literally having one person show up and say "THE TRUTH IS" is not very interesting
tougou's flip back to protecting the world was literally "I WON'T FORGET YOU", "ok then"
the attempt at extracting emotional sympathy was done through Itsuki, her giving up on her dream, her older sister's rage at finding out the truth, but that was a poor choice, no one in the club really had a debilitating handicap, a backstory into tougou and that other girl's former relationship wouldve been much more interesting
tougou's character development was a huge disappointment, she had the most potential and yet nothing is really said, her "betrayal" lasted about one episode, her "i'm doing this to save YOU" reasoning was shallow as fuck, for example they could've gone into how her betrayal led to Karin's loss of hearing/sight/arm/leg and how that would affect her mentally but that's just kind of glossed over (partly because this was like at the end of episode 11)
and i dont get the ending either, why is it so "happily ever after"? sure it's hinted that something might still be wrong with Yuuna but considering the shitty situation they're in it's hard to believe that everything turned out alright
and i was really looking forward to how the show would handle that question "how far would you sacrifice yourself or your friends to protect complete strangers" and it's never asked
all the girls use their bloom ability without any hesitation whatsoever, the so called side effects are so minor in the first few cases there's no "weight" in making the decision, and their subsequent healing makes the seriousness of using the bloom ability even lighter than it already is
"i sacrificed hearing in one ear to save the world, i regained my hearing in a few days"
not a very weighty sacrifice is it
madoka did everything better
[/sp]
an 8/10 story potential with 6/10 execution
My mom found my nendoroid figures and called them cute.
