I'm looking forward to the old guy too. All the characters so far have or seem like they're going to have fun and interesting personalities.
I also wanna see who that person with the eyepatch/monocle thing is.
I'm watching the OP over and over and picking up different things going on in the background each time, like Clavis swinging by and falling off his rope, or someone pulling a yoga pose and scooting across the floor in the background while Decim is clapping for them :v:
death parade's op is catchy as fuck and i love it
It's a shame Death Parade is showing during this season. It makes the fact that it's probably AOTS less of an achievement since it's airing with a bunch of lackluster shows :v:

There are at least four characters in the OP who aren't featured in the title splash at the start at all, too.
Dark skinned, green haired girl, the school girl, someone with short pink hair and dark skin, and a woman with gold eyes and purple hair.
Not sure what capacity they're going to come into the show (and there's ANOTHER male behind them with an obscured face too, alongside eyepatch girl) but the cast is pretty fucking huge before we even add in the dead people.

I didn't like them explaining it because in Death Billiards it was ambiguous. After the explanation of the world this episode, I don't mind it myself.

I'm pretty sure Nona [sp]still agreed with the assistant, but realized that the assistant was being too human/optimistic about things when she said the couple could have been happy, which led to the whole "...she still has a ways to go" or whatever she said before the elevator closed. It all has to do with the fact that Nona said multiple times that the assistant will "get used to it" eventually.[/sp]
