Yuuki Yuuna is absolutely worth picking up. Fantastic show, just stick with it if it doesn't seem immediately engaging.
Since we're getting [sp]bowling[/sp] next episode of Death Parade, I hope we get all of the stuff in the OP even if we don't have enough episodes for it. We're almost certainly getting air hockey and Trump, but I want to see that fight stick be used at some point. Your destiny will be decided by your salt.

Death Parade ep 2[sp]I thought it wasn't for clarifying the situation, but for the fact they were trying to show that the arbiters aren't some perfect entities and even they have flaws and make mistakes. Also from the episode title I was sincerely hoping they would actually play Reverse.[/sp] :v:

Shit, the first chapter of this manga hit me super hard and was totally not chill-while-laying-in-bed-about-to-sleep material. Made me seriously reflect on my chosen path in life and how it is pretty much a huge gamble, and made me super depressed and actually tear up (quite) a bit.
The manga is Bakuman. I am not trying to become a manga creator or whatever like the dude in the manga, but I have chosen the path of an artist, more specifically graphic design, and I really do feel like "should this really be what I am going to do with my life, or should I just go and try to do something 'normal'" And considering I am in college rather than high school the whole "gamble" I think has a much larger impact on me now than if it would if I was younger.
I guess me having a somewhat related history makes the first chapter of this thing more depressing than it would be for other people, but damn, seriously emotional shit right now guys. I was lookin for some comedy-haha-bed-time and instead I got holy-fuck-what-am-i-doing-with-my-life.
Also there is some seriously "that shit doesn't make sense" stuff, but I guess that is expected of a comedy thing, but it wasn't really comedic for me since I was doing some self reflection.
I think the 2nd episode of Death Parade was interesting but I think it would've been way more interesting to [sp]figure out that the arbiters aren't perfect from the dynamic between the different denizens of Quindecim rather than straight out telling you that they aren't perfect[/sp]

J.C. Staff also made New Dominion, which was great. Doesn't stop them being a mediocre studio that fucks up most of the adaptations it does.

Thing is, they don't have any usual director or character designer or anything like that, but sometimes they end up with a crew that can make the most out of whatever JC Staff is capable of. kill la kill's animation is generally somewhat crude anyway, that's kinda the point, plus it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb
compare: Index and Railgun to any other J.C. Staff show which airs at the same time. One will get fucked if something that needs not shit animation happens in the other.
