What I know from the plot is that the main characters are just five out of a large music club, it's not "we are the entire music club" like K-On.
Not pictured in PV: male manager main character. Assuming he's still there. He's in the novels and I can't exactly see any reason to remove him. I imagine he's not in the promotional material because he's not kawaii enough and doesn't play an instrument as far as I know.

It doesn't really look anything like the K-On art style to me.
According to this handy-dandy Kyoani character designer chart they don't even have the same character designer. Euphonium's next to Haruhi, above K-on which should make for a good comparison of MCs at least. Euphonium has a really shiny art style. It reminds me of that one SoL that everbody liked where everybody had white shading.

Reminds me of a video I watched where the american kid was in Japan for studies and didn't know about the women only sections and the whole ride the women were looking at him funny. Wasn't until later he realized what happened.
