Ugh, don't remind me about my HGUC Gabthley I've had for the better half of a year unbuilt because the legs are a nightmare to build. The instructions for the legs alone are three quarters of the instruction book and it's longer than the entirety of most HG instructions. Fuck transforming legs.
Zeta had too damn many transformers. Suits like the Marasai, Barzam, and Byarlant didn't get nearly enough screentime.
The transformable gimmick is putting me off getting Gabthley even though it looks ballin and barzam looks like a dunbine reject.
I'm glad byarlant got some UC action so they made that nice kit

So I just finished watching Panty and Stocking in like one sitting which is p. surprising since I'm not normally into anime that much so I'm gonna give other ones a go.
But I'm wondering how you guys decide to watch shows dubbed or with subtitles instead when given the choice?

dubs tend to have problems with bad voice acting, lipsyncing, scripting, localisation and pretty much everything so always subs

Original audio because it's original. With a dub it's not really the same characters anymore. Only exception to that is possibly space dandy, but that depends on who was involved in the english dub.

Subbed, always.
Always watch subs first.
Only watch dubs during re-watches(if you really want to)

I wish the Byarlant Custom 02 wasn't a P-Bandai exclusive. The colours are nice, it comes with actual hands, and the feet are slightly different in a way I prefer.
Still, Kobe Byarlant absorbing the competence of the entire Federation and trashing the remnants in an excellently choreographed scene was great after watching all of the other feds fight like they were confused by the concepts of hitting your target or using your legs.

Barzam wishes it were a Dunbine reject.
God I wish they had done the line of Dunbine HGs a few years later. The Dunbine HG is so back-heavy it literally cannot stand and it comes with fucking rubber hands so it can't even hold its own sword.
I'd kill for a new Renewal line again but it seems only Tomino shows were privileged enough to get HGs. The L-Gaim HG holds up surprisingly well but the A-Taul is awful. I'd kill for a Dragonar model.

See, this is why you keep a library of BDs like a sensible paying customer.
but then you have something called shelf space problems

Wouldn't be a problem if there was any form of quality control in the shelf.
How to fix "shelf space" problems:
step 1. remove shit
step 2. buy more shelves
step 3. refer to step 1

no idea what you're trying to say, dgg

That the dub for Space Dandy isn't good.
That the dub for Space Dandy isn't good.
never said that. If the dub actors were directed by the original creators then it would be "ok" to watch it. I don't care enough to google but in space dandy had a simultaneous dub airing so that might be the case.
some of the english actors in dandy were flat, but the main cast was pretty good
the main problem comes with script changes, like in the musical episode "you guys made it too!" (or smth like that) is changed in the english version to just "yeah!"

today's episode of cross ange was so weird
somehow, sunrise managed to[sp] shove like 6 minutes of sports anime, and a naked twister scene into one episode[/sp]
wow I started SAO 2 and its ~~awesome~~
Oh hey new Akame chapter.
[sp]Nobody dies.[/sp]
[sp]Well expect for pikachu-on-steroids of course[/sp]
Akame ga kill chapter 56 [sp]Mine became a pumpkin[/sp]
I am loving cross ange for all it's wackiness, it's just so far out there I don't know what to think of it.

Every new chapter of Akame ga Kill makes the anime look even worse in comparison.
Chapter 55 of Akame is missing for some reason. I'll wait for that instead of jumping from 54 to 56.
Chapter 55 of Akame is missing for some reason. I'll wait for that instead of jumping from 54 to 56.
are you talking about batato it got dropped so they're not gonna put it on there anymore
[editline]25th January 2015[/editline]

are both of the space runaway ideon movies required to watch? ive been like on episode 20 of the main series for months now and I keep forgetting to carry it on, but going to actually make the effort now
[editline]25th January 2015[/editline]

chapter 55 was only translated by somebody who doesn't upload to batoto.

The first movie is just a recap, but the second movie is a sequel and has a proper ending to the series.

AW COME ON, out of all the rip websites you could choose.
Kissmanga rips everything off batoto ~2.5 hours after release, doesn't resize or quality rape anything (as long as it's PNG, jpegs sometimes do get raped) and doesn't add god damn watermarks. If something gets pulled from batoto just head over there gosh.
Or wait does Mangastream rip off other stuff, I don't even know anymore with all these shitholes with similar names.
The first movie is just a recap, but the second movie is a sequel and has a proper ending to the series.
p much this
the second movie uses the script for what was originally planned as the last four episodes before it got cancelled and they had to rush the ending for the tv show
and hai chunky pls talk (´・ω・`)
