Holy fucking yes. I also thought that there are high chances of sequel, because it sold so well and there is a lot more to the ending than you initially realize. There are some things yet to be explained.
Happy to hear that they are at least considering it.

I think it is what most anime should be compared to, but I like many others. S:G, GE999, P&S, Chaika(guilty pleasure), Darker than black, Birdy.
It's just weird how over used the tropes are in anime when they don't ever fucking exist anywhere else. If a girl don't like you ignore her and find someone else. Most anime just has the George lucas style of writing, AKA nothing makes since but things work out for "reasons". it just seems a large majority of anime is following the same "guy likes girl", girl secretly likes ugy but acts to hate him", both act like no one acts in real life, and then they kissu to solve world peace.
And many adult swim classics Big O, Wolfs Rain, Lupin, Detective conan, FLCL, Ghost in a shell, etc. Then again I might have just liked them because I was invited over to a house with a bunch of girls to watch em all. But who can blame me.

I have no idea what a romcom is. I actually had to google it, those are okay but really not prevalent in the current market. I don't think anything I listed is a SOL, if I said barakamon then sure I am at fault.
