all ofem are good except for 2 and 7, with DYRL being the best.
Frontier felt really generic to me
I've never watched a mecha anime unless FLCL counts does FLCL count?
why havent you seen gurren lagann though
why havent you seen gurren lagann though
I haven't seen a lot of shows. I'm not that interested in mecha, so I'm usually only exposed to it if it's a sub-genre of a show. Like with FLCL. It's on my list though. I'm going to watch it eventually.
Frontier felt really generic to me
watch the fuckin movies
i don't really like mecha either but gurren lagann is really worth watching even if you're not into mechas
I hear that a lot. If people didn't tell me that, I probably would have avoided it completely, which probably would have been a huge mistake.
Frontier felt really generic to me
But it had Ranka's wildly original character and Alto's sparkling personality and a Meltradi that turned into a loli for no justifiable reason how could it possibly be less than completely unique [editline]30th January 2015[/editline]
i don't really like mecha either but gurren lagann is really worth watching even if you're not into mechas
Gurren Lagann's a mecha show for people who will never watch a mecha show in their life.
i assumed that all mecha CG is bad cause the only ones i've seen were completely awful
you need to watch more than aldnoah zero then
Well, Tokyo Ghoul Root Canal continues to be fucking awful, and nobody was surprised.
Break Blade movies are also p good http://myanimelist.net/anime/6772/Break_Blade_1:_Kakusei_no_Toki not sure how the anime version is tho
Well, Tokyo Ghoul Root Canal continues to be fucking awful, and nobody was surprised.
what's so awful about it
Well, Tokyo Ghoul Root Canal continues to be fucking awful, and nobody was surprised.
well this was supposed to be Ishida's story but I guess 12 episodes forced him to slice out half of it
http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1448742 Whoever wrote that B1N4RY! fanfiction, it is finally your time to shine
The grand prize is gold membership and a title change yeahhhhhh k
Rewatched Welcome to the NHK, just as good as i remembered it being.
Break Blade movies are also p good http://myanimelist.net/anime/6772/Break_Blade_1:_Kakusei_no_Toki not sure how the anime version is tho
Anime version is just the movies with some extra scenes.
are there any good anime with relatively small mechas without space battles small as in, roughly around code geass size
Blue Gender has like 8ft tall mechs and it's gritty and I like it. I recommend that
Blue Gender is p good if you like pseudo philosophy out of nowhere at the end.
what's so awful about it
the animation is at best passable, mostly worse. The story is a hilarious butchering of the manga story on an even bigger level then s1, putting in half manga scenes and half original, the original bits cause the manga bits to get retarded due to context for the scene changing. all subtly in the manga was lost, twists in the manga are literally told to the viewer like they're braindead morons, now I'm not saying the TG manga is very intellectual or deep, but it didn't treat it's readers like sheep who can't figure out simple twists. season 1 is a bad adaption, but season 2 is an epic trainwreck that seems to be actively trying to be as bad as possible.
Isuca looks to be like a pretty terrible anime adaptation of the manga. First ep was not only full of anime original stuff, but also shitload of magical white/black censor bars. Probably going to drop it if the next couple of eps don't improve. Also some QUALITY moments in the animation.
and also a ton of blog posts that no one cares about
I care about my homies [editline]29th January 2015[/editline]
http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1448742 Whoever wrote that B1N4RY! fanfiction, it is finally your time to shine
I don't even think kabuto comes here anymore

seriously, why is this so fun to listen to (though shame it doesn't loop properly)
Shigatsu ep 15 [sp]seems like Kaori might have ALS or some other motor neuron disease, if she dies i'll kill myself[/sp]
Kamikaze perv, i kept sending him inappropriate pictures, but he wanted more and more.
Kamikaze perv, i kept sending him inappropriate pictures, but he wanted more and more.
i plead the fifth
Gotta watch that new Shigatsu episode before i go to sleep.
Shigatsu ep 15 [sp]seems like Kaori might have ALS or some other motor neuron disease, if she dies i'll kill myself[/sp]
[sp]Of course she'll die. It's been hinted at for so long, and the ED isn't exactly trying to be subtle about it.[/sp] I'll hate it when it happens though.
Votoms mecha are four metres tall and there are only a couple of battles in space. They also rollerblade around and the MC goes through them like cheap cigars. If a scopedog he pilots lasts longer than a single fight it's a miracle.

I like patlabor a lot, although it's definitely not a 10/10 amazingly written aoty, it's a good episodic police drama/comedy where everything happens to be mechs. Pretty funny when they do bomb defusal with mechs in a few episodes. It's pretty gud and I don't even like mecha so go figure. Patlabor mechs are like 10m tall I think so maybe das too big.

Blue Gender has like 8ft tall mechs and it's gritty and I like it. I recommend that
kkthx
yeah where is tenryuu
you missed your aim just very slightly feel free to take a second shot though, i'm sure you'll nail it then
