On a completely different note: with all of these "normally only women can do magic or whatever, but MC is the only boy in the world who can do magic too!" shows, someday I want one to turn dead serious and say "That's actually because they're a medical anomaly known as an XX male" or it turns out they're trans in some way, then become a completely serious show about gender issues.
