It's not about being right or wrong, that's such a super simple way of seeing and labeling things.
It's about understanding why she did it, you don't have to think she was right to understand her actions. It was an action born from love and desperation. She wanted to be assured that he would live on [sp]when she no longer could[/sp].

Rewatching Daily Lives of High School Boys reminds me of how much I hate the thing a lot of comedies do where a thing happens and the punchline is performed and then somebody else in the scene yells HE DID A THING THAT RESULTED IN THE PUNCHLINE or straight up explains or repeats the punchline.
Yeah, I saw him do the funny thing, I don't need "HE DID A FUNNY THING" yelled at me afterwards.
