I take long enough just trying to watch shows, I don't think I'd fair much better reading manga :v:
Manga goes by much faster than anime...
I saw the OVA a long time ago on VHS, thinking back on it made me watch Decode. I prefer the subs though.

What's a good anime to watch while drinking? TTGL is pretty good, but always ends up with everyone passing out after a few episodes.

Shoujo romance. Hell, half the time I need the booze just to get through it.

That's not like sound of the sky is it? Holy shit, I never knew people could cry so much.
Manga goes by much faster than anime...
I get that, but it's hard sometimes. I get headaches easily that blur my vision, making it difficult to actually read things.
That's not like sound of the sky is it? Holy shit, I never knew people could cry so much.
Umm, no. Sound of the Sky isn't a shoujo nor a romance. And what do you mean about crying? I mean shit like Ao Haru Ride and Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji.
this is what happens when you touch an anime

Bartender
I like to watch dumb slice of lifes like non non biyori and lucky star, or comedies like nichijou or sayonara zetsubou sensei. Although theres a point where szs is near impossible to understand.
szs is near impossible to understand.
this happens to me while sober
should I be concerned?
Don't try and watch Monogatari while trashed. I got trashed on New Year's Eve and tried watching Tsukimonogatari and I just couldn't follow the subs after a while, and the show's very dialogue-heavy, so missing the subs means you miss out on a lot of the show.
oh man, Tsukimonogatari still isn't subbed by anyone else other than HS/Daisuki yet?

i enjoyed this :(
i enjoyed this :(
yea but the QUALITY of pretty everything was p insane
and a lot of the later episodes were bad with either long stretches of still scenes or overly dramatic crying over small things
and a lot of the earlier ones literally felt like you were watching someone else play a rpg which is never really fun because there's no extra commentary to go with it
the ending went nowhere really and [sp]they never told each other their feelings; instead logy rides off into the sunset in full QUALITY glory to actually star in an exciting adventure[/sp]
and the fight scenes were all over the place in a bad way
i enjoyed it because i like rpgs but at the same time it's objectively terrible

it's possible to enjoy bad anime you know

Man this question has a lot of people goin'
I've only done drunk anime once and it was SYD, and believed it was a comedy masterwork surpassing regular tripe such as "zetsubo sensei" or "nichijou"

So I haven't slept in like over 40 hours, but I somehow stayed awake all day today. Insomnia is a bitch.
With a huge backlog of shows I either need to watch or started but never finished, I had plenty to choose from to keep me occupied until a decent time so I could try and fall asleep again without further destroying my schedule.
For some reason, instead of watching something I really wanted to watch or continue, like Parasyte, Akame, or muscling through After Story, I watched...Amagami SS
All of it
Well, most of it. I started it a while back and stopped after 2 arcs, which was 8 episodes, so I watched 16 episodes. But still. That's a lot of omnibus romance.
Considering how out of it I was most of the time though, I guess I'm glad I didn't watch something good because it would have been ruined :v:
I finished reading JoJo part 2. What can I expect from part 3 if I were to start reading it?
I finished reading JoJo part 2. What can I expect from part 3 if I were to start reading it?
Another part of JoJo.
What is even the point to asking this?
