Astry and Stargazer are the only good things from SEED
infact if SEED didn't have such a incompetent director it could of been good. the universes for it is a good swing from the traditional Gundam but it suffered because "WE NEED BIG BACKPACKS CAUSE MAI KID LIKE BIG BACKPACKS AND BRIGHT COLORS!!!!11!!!"
and the character drama was just poorly done

Context: the Stargazer director built the setting and it had a lot of potential as a result, and Fukuda told the mecha designer, Okawara, to design brightly coloured toylike suits, mostly Gundams, to appeal to his very young son. And that's why every Seed design looks like it's made out of plastic. Concept art for the Ginn shows a considerably grittier by comparison direction.

The Mk 3 has really grown on me over time. I think the transition from lineart to model helped. The proportions and head are really nice and the colour has a sort of glow to it.
