It wasn't ignored.
Yes it was. Nothing in that picture except the resolution itself is meant for Bluray.
What was it then? It wasn't followed in any case.
Sure was.
Sure was.
Now you're just being provocative.
Bluray is also a mass storage disk ya know.
Bluray is also a mass storage disk ya know.
The point of encoding and selling video on bluray then. Happy now?
Bluray is also a mass storage disk ya know.
Yeah. 2 episodes on one Bluray disk. I feel the mass storage there. And what Jabber said.
Yeah. 2 episodes on one Bluray disk. I feel the storage there.
Oh so you own it.
Yeah. 2 episodes on one Bluray disk. I feel the mass storage there. And what Jabber said.
Isn't bluray supposed to be bigger than that? I've never even looked at one but I heard 50gigs somewhere back when hddvd was fighting it.
The point of encoding and selling video on bluray then. Happy now?
It's at an HD resolution. Mission accomplished.
Oh so you own it.
You know just as well as I that that is completely unrelevant in every possible way.
You know just as well as I that that is completely unrelevant in every possible way.
Unreleveant?
It at an HD resolution. Mission accomplished.
Yeah sure, I'll take my webcam video at 640x480 and upscale it to 1920x1080 (with black bars on the side). It is now bluray, YEEEAH! NO!
Isn't bluray supposed to be bigger than that?
Yes, much bigger. But it's called marketing strategy.
Yeah sure, I'll take my webcam video at 640x480 and upscale it to 1920x1080 (with black bars on the side). It is now bluray, YEEEAH!
That's not the same.
Unreleveant?
I love UN. Plus it's called "relevant" and "urelevant" in Norwegian. It's not relevant.
That's not the same.
Yes, that's exactly what it is. The bluray release of K-ON is upscaled. This (plus jpeg compression) is the reason that the edges become so jaggy, and yes, I am aware of the texture of ink. Especially take a look at the coloured border, it is extremely pixelated beyond words. The whole thing is scaled bigger than it's original resolution which follows that very concept I just explained. Though less dramatic.
Think what you want but there's almost no visible difference.
Got to agree with chunky here, all I noticed was a slight soft filter effect. And even that took long to realize that.
Think what you want but there's almost no visible difference.
What!? It's so damn obvious. There's a huge loss in quality there.
It's stuff like this that makes us media people cringe.
But poor font choices do not?
Think what you want but there's almost no visible difference.
I can see the difference, but it's not enough for me to personally care about it. It definitely is there though.
What!? It's so damn obvious. There's a huge loss in quality there.
Bullshit. Now you're being provocative. It didn't make a fuss when I bought the Dirty Harry ultimate collectors edition on Bluray and it was still blurry.
it's called blur-ay for a reason, guys
it's called blur-ay for a reason, guys
No it's called Blu-ray.
That's a reaaaaaallly tiiiiiiny difference. I couldn't have noticed the difference unless it's been pointed out.
I noticed it.
But poor font choices do not? :v:
That's actually a matter of taste. And my taste for stuff is very different from most people. And don't say that with your "Arial would be better" recommandation. :3: But It could probably be improved with an even better font, no doubt.
Think what you want but there's almost no visible difference.
There is a big difference. A biiiig difference.
and just saying, it's a shame stage themes and credit themes from Touhou are less recognized and remixed/vocalized than the character themes themselves, a lot of them sounds very awesome and epic.
There is a big difference. A biiiig difference.
Yep, so big that's not very noticeable unless compared side by side.
and just saying, it's a shame stage themes and credit themes from Touhou are less recognized and remixed/vocalized than the character themes themselves, a lot of them sounds very awesome and epic.
Like Crimson Belvedere.
Yep, so big that's not very noticeable unless compared side by side.
So how come I noticed it the moment I looked at the picture at Sankakucomplex? I saw the blurriness right away. It's so clear it makes me even a bit angry. :v:
