'tis fun. [editline]07:14PM[/editline]
Dude when i rode that go-kart i was 13 and i weighed a little under 110 lbs. That's fucking underweight for that age. On top of that on the last lap, they gave me the fastest go-kart. whoopty fucking do all my friends already finished their 10 laps on a 1 mile long track. Hell i'm 16 now and i weigh 122. Oh and my dad who weighs fucking 220 was going faster than me.
At 13 I weighed 90 pounds.
I used to go karting at a place called traxx http://www.traxxracing.com/main.asp Nifty little machines...
Yea, i went on a track exclisively for drifting. Wowee.
Figure 8 racing with a demolition derby car > go-kart racing
Was a course built inside in some place somewhere in Denmark, and it was only me, my dad, my cousin and my uncle. Shit was fucking awesome. Took me way too long time before I understood that I didn't need to break before swings, was too scared of crashing when going down and coming up of the "tunnel" to be met by a sharp turn right away after getting up.

I did it a few times. The place I went to had slick parts so you could slide through the turns. Was awesome.
Infact, the only major go-karting track in my city was losing so much money they shut down. Then someone got an idea to do drifting on it.
i've got an off/on road go kart 12hp briggs and stratton solid rear axle with automatic clutch tops out at around 55mph on dirt, and will spin the wheels under any conditions on dirt it's hella fun, can't ride for more than an hour though, no suspension at all beyond some foam under the seat means your body will literally break in half
Some idiot was ramming me, then going really slow so he could put on a "I didn't do this" attitude.
It was so much fun. Drifting the corners, driving with one hand and turning it easily while 9 year olds have to make a face to show that they are angry when you pass them. It reminded me of when I got to go with my dad to a parking lot, and he taught me how to drift cars and how to use the hand-brake while racing. Was a godly moment, not many of them.
Yeah, I wen't go-karting some time ago. The bananas are fucking annoying.
My best experience in go-karting was discovering that Great America doesn't let you go again if you pull off a pit maneuver on another racer.
When I was go-karting with my dad on one of those tracks. We created a rolling roadblock to piss other people off.
They're kickin' rad.
I've been multiple times, and I like it. I prefer the death defying dune buggy type of riding, track karting is lame.
Do they make go karts for tall motherfuckers?(CARS LOLOL) I'm 6' 4'' and they always feel very small
Do they make go karts for tall motherfuckers?(CARS LOLOL) I'm 6' 4'' and they always feel very small
Probably because you're fucking tall.
Yeah they do, they're called dune buggies. They're the badass version of go-karts.
3 times. Drifting with gokarts is awesome
Does Mario Kart count?
Today my father, brother, and I decided to actually leave the house and do something. We thought of the most bad ass thing that we could do without pussy-ing out, and it hit us. Go-karts. It was amazing. The graphics were insane and it felt so life-like. This was definitely the best game we've ever played. We were so B.A. that we decided to be a little... dangerous ;). EVERYONE was looking at us, cause you know, we're a little aggressive (even though the sign said "DRIVE NICELY" hehehe). So guys any of you ever left the house before?
Probably unlike you, sir, I do like to hang out with my family. And I dont see whats wrong with it. However, if you are too fast and need to turn in a difficult curve, break before the curve and then hit the acelerator on the curve. Dont try to break while doing the curve, else youll spin out of control.
