A pizza with added anchovies is actually a completely different pizza. Pretty standard when making new pizzas, just adding a new thing to it.

though it still had pretty much all the ingredients that made it, it's different yet the same at the same time, as in hey it's still a pizza, it's made with all the ingredients of a pizza, and anchovies made it different as in a different pizza, but still a pizza, you could had just added the anchovies on my pizza instead of copying my pizza and then adding anchovies, it's not a big problem but I don't know something just ticked me about it and had to nitpick it
of course I played both, in my own experience it really was just like playing the same thing, though improved because of physics and graphics wise, but yeah it was still same ol' Counter-Strike and all the same tactics and styles I did on 1.6 carried over Source
another RTS game with a different gameplay style, but that's not important, something like maybe comparing Half-Life to Battlefield would had been a better example for example
