ads there aren't even that bad, just GoogleAds which is essential just a bar of text, if you really can't be bothered to spare a few viewing space site endorsing ads/can't be bothered to make a simple 2 click process on unblocking it only for that site might as well go somewhere else, it's their site, their rules and needs
Watched Amagami SS 20. The ending was a bit different than I expected, but not dissapointing. Looking forward for the next arc.

imgkk has been like that for months now. You can upload images but they don't work and previous images that you previously uploaded no longer work.

also that thing where you upload images to imgkk and they "don't work" is probably just you, I've been using it fine since forever; though, some images do get deleted, but only really old ones and not the recent ones you've uploaded, from what I've seen
I don't see what's wrong with adding a few ads in their site, it keeps them running and also keeps them to be a free site instead of having to pay to use, yeah you don't really lose anything and yeah ads can be annoying but telling them they deserve to die out/shutdown just because of forcing to see ads to use their site is a pretty harsh thing to say
even Facepunch had a ad block prevention method for a while by moving the essential graphics of the site in an ad folder so they get blocked as well, people need/want money whether it's for the purpose of development or for the purpose of living, if you don't like looking at extra pictures or text at the sides, you're pretty much saying you don't like to support little indie webhosts trying to earn extra income for living and for the sake of the site keep on running or being free, if you do like that might as well make Facepunch like Something Awful and make it a requirement to pay for accounts and for other extra forum features or anything else required to have a transaction

people just block them cause they're an eyesore

Adblock exists to block ads, I hate ads. I don't care if they pay your bills or not, I'm using adblock for it's intended purpose, TO BLOCK ADS.
And yeah, I never said it was wrong to have ads on your site, I just don't want to see them.

even if you do have to click the ads, there's still the mindset from the creator that out of all the people who block ads/don't bother ads, there's a tiny percentage of people that will actually click those ads, thus getting their extra income, it's the "hey worth a shot" kind of thinking where maximizing chances on getting the best results
if you're really that desperate to block the ads just use another program to bypass the detection then like noscript
the ads aren't even that bad, just scraps of text, back then there weren't even any ad-blocking software/plugins and majority of the internet were filled with obnoxious animated ads, throwing away a decent site/program to use just because of a few advertisements is totally silly and just a way of losing a potentially useful tool
