Correction, Daemon White, simple-minded people watch piles of shows that show the exact same thing and take every chance they have to show panty shots and boob grabs whilst also focusing on the power of love or the tragedy of love over and over and over again. A.k.a anime.
In the start phase of anime you'll find it to be a completely new thing with lots of interesting and deep plots and oh so mature stories. Then you start having watched a handful of shows and you should (unless you are retarded) realize that you have been watching the same shit over and over and over again and everyone acts the same way all the time and the plots are the same shit with a different setting everytime.
There are six kinds of shows:
1. [B]Mecha shows.[/B] Political problems and human psychological problems that can be overcome through the power of love and sheer willpower. Also just a bunch of robots smashing eachother.
2.1 [B]Harem shows[/B]. Standard uninteresting super normal person which is supposed to be you gets all the chicks to love him by just being himself and constantly being accused of being a pervert. The girls dig him when they find out how kind he really is. Guy has to chose who to stay with and who has to be dumped, psychological pussy wimp problems occur and he needs help from his friends and girls. Often a romance show.
2.2 [B]Romance shows[/B]. Shows that focuses around the love between a couple or several couples. Usually focuses around two persons that think their love is one-sided but is actually mutual, spends the whole show on almost getting them together but usually ends up with them still trying to get together, or just getting together in the final episode. Kissing and/or being together is extremely seldom. Often a harem show.
3. [B]Perverted shows.[/B] Girls. Lots of girls. A 5-second story whipped up to have an excuse for making the show. Ass. Panties. Sperm-like fluids thrown onto girls for all sorts of reasons. Boobs. Boobs. Boobs. BOOOOOOBS. Some unlucky bastard getting raped by all the girls or accidentally happens to get in sexual positions with them all the time.
4. [B]Gore shows[/B]. Anything and everything bleeds. Equivelant of a classical hollywood movie, just replace explosions with blood. People go batshit insane or there are lots of monsters. People die. All the time.
5. [B]Psychological shows.[/B] Shows that revolves around one individual or several individuals and questions or just shows how humans are, how they think and how they act and how they can get in certain situations. Basically takes up problems that are common in todays society or shows situations that could happen because of how the human mind works.
6.1 Random shows. Shows that just does whatever it can to be funny. Usually aided by a lighthearted comedical versions of the above type of shows. Often takes use of references.
6.2 Reference shows. Shows that tries as hard as possible to stuff in as many references as it can to be funny and normally forgets about anything else called a story, actual jokes and sketches and anything else essential to make an actual show. Aimed at hardcore otakus/weeaboos.
