• Summer vs Winter (and everything in between): What's YOUR favorite season?

This thread should have a poll really But summer all day every day, it's mostly because summer literally lasts about six days here, all of which are scattered throughout the sea of grey, overcast, slightly cold days here in the UK winter and autumn have their perks but nothing beats summer
Spring
I've always had a hard time picking an end-all favorite season, but I can easily list my personal pros and cons for each one. Spring Pros: Comfortably warm, plenty of rain, my birthday is in April, school is almost over, and everything is coming to life again. Cons: I am allergic to everything that blooms in Spring, turning me into a quivering mess of mucus and itchy eyes. Summer Pros: School is over for three months, increased chance for thunderstorms and tropical storms that never damage my town because we live in a valley, more time to spend with friends and family. Cons: It's way too fucking hot. Anything above 80F is wicked uncomfortable for me. Also the sun sets way too late for my tastes. Autumn Pros: A nice, cool relief from the deadly Summer heat, foliage begins to change color, everything feels nice and cozy, plus Halloween and Thanksgiving are just around the corner. Cons: School starts up again, onslaught of stress and struggling to adapt tends to make me physically ill for a few days because I'm not used to it. Winter Pros: Everything looks nice when blanketed in snow and makes me feel wicked cozy indoors, storms can cancel classes from time to time and provide me with opportunities to make easy money for shoveling snow, and Christmas and New Year's celebrations. Cons: It's bitingly cold even for me, or sometimes we'll get a snow-less, uncomfortably warm season that doesn't feel like Winter, but a second Autumn instead.
Winter. I fucking love snow.
Winter cause Im fat as fuck and I need to wear layers to feel comfortable
Summer. I love thunderstorms, and warm sunny days. I like going to the beach, and being on vacation. I like how long it stays light outside, and ice cream. Swimming is really fun too. Also trampolines.
I love reading outside in the summer, the sunshine makes me happy. However, it makes me feel guilty when I'm indoors on a nice day.
Winter cus summer is bush fire season here
Autumn/Winter
Any sunny day with near 15C is perfect for me regardless of season Not too hot and not too cold
Winter. Winter in Tallahassee never goes below 30. It's the best shit ever. Summer sucks mega cock.
Winter is my favorite. I dig going on late night walks with all the sound muffled by the snow. Plus I prefer being cold and trying to get warm over being hot as fuck and trying to cool off.
spring-too much rain, mud, but looks pretty out summer-too hot, fun to be outside when there is wind fall-lots of raking, but nice wind and just fun winter-FUCK YEAH I GET TO WEAR MY USHANKA
Winter, it's cold and miserable just like me!
I love all seasons aside from winter, but winter is cool for a few months like 2-3. After that it makes me wanna shoot myself
summer w/ rainy nights the best
I like winter, because over here it's usually so hot that winter just causes the temperature to go to decent amounts.
Autumn first because of the rainy weather, and Summer after because, it's summer.
Summer, I hate the snow and frigid ass days.
Winter, cause it's easier to warm yourself up than cool yourself down.
Seasons suck!
Upstate NY Winter - Armageddon Spring - Nice Summer - Oven Fall - Nice I love spring the most.
I feel ya man, but I like winter the best summer is just too damn hot
Winter, cause it's easier to warm yourself up than cool yourself down.
It's about equally as easy between the two, IMO.
Im not sure, I always prefer summer in the winter and vice versa I would say I prefer Summer. mostly because its hot and theres more to do, and the feeling of rain in the summer is the best.
Winter, no mistake. Summer is worse than Hitler.
Winter is for people that have a working circulatory system. 100º summers any day.
Being an Englishman, I hate the chill of winter, summer is too fucking hot, and autumn is just a time of cold and rot. Give me a cool springtime where it's just the right temperature and everything's not dying. Only thing that places autumn over summer and winter is that it encapsulates that most magical of times in society, the "holiday season". The harvest, Halloween, Guy Fawkes Night, Thanksgiving, those make up for an otherwise grim and grisly time of the year.
Winter, no mistake. Summer is worse than Hitler.
In the UK it is, but I speak from experience from my time in France: On the hot summer days, the houses get hot as fuck, and the air con systems don't help at all. In winter, put on a sweater, have a nice hot water bottle, sit by the nice warm fire, etc.
Winter > Spring > Fall >>>>>>>>> Summer
Mid Fall. Colours are starting to show, some more than others so you get this nice green with some orange and yellow showing through. The air is cooler, and the water still holds some of that summer heat so swimming is still good, and the bugs aren't around nearly as much.
