• Summer vs Winter (and everything in between): What's YOUR favorite season?

Summer's always been my favorite. I'm kinda weird for liking those crazy hot days where stepping into an air-conditioned building feels amazing. I also fucking love thunderstorms. Even though I've graduated, I associate fall with everything winding down, and having to come back to reality. I feel that everyone becomes busy, and become less available. Fall generally just depresses the fuck out of me. That being said, I fucking love crazily windy fall nights. Just amazing to sleep to. As far as winter goes, I still love the festive atmosphere of Christmas. I also love blizzards like I love thunderstorms, but shoveling can go suck a dick. Driving also is much more of a chore with that white shit on the ground. I've also never had a SO, so I just don't get to reap the benefits of cuddle weather. I like spring because once it arrives, winter has gotten really fucking old. I love those first few days where you're finally able to crack the windows open for the first time, and also see the leaves come in. For the latter half of spring though, I get violently slammed by brutal pollen allergies. That sucks. Bad. So, my list in order is: Summer Winter Spring Fall
Winter all the way, and here's why. During winter, I can actually control the temperature and adjust it to my preferences. If it is cold, I can put on an extra layer of clothes, or if it is cold in my room, I can turn on the radiator. It is that simple. During summer, controlling the temperature is impossible. My room stays at around 27-28 degrees Celsius constantly. I've tried opening the window but that doesn't help at all, since no air comes through it for some reason. I've tried using an air conditioner but that only works temporarily. It lowers the temperature to 23-24 degrees but 30 minutes after I turn it of, the temps go back to 27-28 degrees. My room is cursed by the Devil of Summer. Also, tiny fucking bugs keep flying into my face if I'm outside. All bugs are dead during Winter. And birds chirp so much that they wake me up. They shut the fuck up during Winter. So, to summarize it all. Summer for me equals sleepless nights due to heat and chirping birds, absurdly high room temperatures, bugs in the face, more high temperatures. During Winter, all birds shut the fuck up, all bugs are gone, it is cold enough to have a reasonable room temperature, it is fun to drift in the snow with a car.
Winter, because I live in a desert. If you get too cold you can just put on a robe or get under a blanket instead of having to have a distracting fan next to your head.
Spring. Because nice amount of sun and pleasant temperatures (10-16C).
Winter for snowboarding but my favorite all around is Autumn I guess I like the change in color and to scare the crap out of little kids on Halloween.
