Garry's Mod? - General - Facepunch Forum

I have a Toshiba Satellite L355. It has a 2.3 Single core, with on board graphics. I've researched my on board graphics and supposedly they match up with an 8800. not the best card, but good enough. I can run Half Life 2 on max so I'm fine with it. But for some reason Source games hate my computer. TF2, Portal, DoD, & Gmod all decided to piss on my hopes and dreams of playing. I have all my drivers updated, Direct X up to date. any suggestions on how to solve my annoying problem?

Sadly it also causes a kind of domino effect where people inform other people that they are going to be banned for predicting moderation get banned for predicting moderation.

Also I have a Toshiba Satellite and it runs Source games just fine, although it must be a different model because it has a dual-core processor.

For christmas my dad got me what I wanted. A Laptop. As I opened the bag I noticed it was Advent. Mah face fell like a watermelon off a cliff. This bitch has a shitty SiS Mirage 3 Built in Graphics chip.. It had one slot and that slot is being used by a 2GB RAM Stick This baby can't run Half-Life:Source without crashing at the menu. So be luck you can run that shit.
