Really, that's actually pretty much all he's doing. Aside from the one where he actually made the beat (which is godawful) he's just using premade beats and talking really low into autotune over them.

Lol, so you just throw your favorite band at me as if I don't know what music is and need an example of it. Just because rap isn't your thing doesn't make it "not music". To me what you've posted just sounds like some generic hard rock noise with lyrics meant to sound "epic". But again, not my type of thing, so it's typical that I'd think it all sounds similar, yet I'm not going to dismiss it as "not music".
In all fairness, though, I used to hate rap because there's so much really, really bad commercial rap that gets a lot of airplay.
