"The life I lead is mere hours or less, I serve all my time by being consumed. I am quickest when thin, slowest when fat, and wind is the bane of the gift that I bring."
a candle
"The life I lead is mere hours or less, I serve all my time by being consumed. I am quickest when thin, slowest when fat, and wind is the bane of the gift that I bring."
Lava! I'm proud of myself (underground it's magma, once solidified it's igneous rock) geography lessons paid off after all
a candle
there is no way that's not it
the earth has been here for a bit longer than a few hours
Yeah I was confused with the wording for some reason. Right how's this. A guy is laying on the desert sands, completely naked, dead, and with a match in his hand. What happened?
The Earth. idunno lol wait how the fuck did I get the earth Wait no. is it a candle?
Candle exactly. I suppose I'll post another. "I am free for the taking through all of your life, though given but once at birth. I am less than nothing in weight, but will fell the strongest of you if held."
lava seems to fit perfectly too :(
you take a breath, are given breath once, a breath weighs near nothing, and if one holds their breath even the strongest will die. Try mine though. I remembered that from a trivia I took a year ago.
Candle exactly. I suppose I'll post another. "I am free for the taking through all of your life, though given but once at birth. I am less than nothing in weight, but will fell the strongest of you if held."
hmmm Breath? I don't know how the whole birthing process goes or whatever the fuck but air or breath fits those other two things
hmmm Breath? I don't know how the whole birthing process goes or whatever the fuck but air or breath fits those other two things
Breath given at birth should be a figure of speech IIRC. Not too up to date with that shit.
Yeah I was confused with the wording for some reason. Right how's this. A guy is laying on the desert sands, completely naked, dead, and with a match in his hand. What happened?
He and a friend went on a balloon ride, the ballon became too heavy, they first began to take off clothes and thow them out. Then they drew matches to see who had to jump out, this guy got the shortest one and he died on impact.
Yeah I was confused with the wording for some reason. Right how's this. A guy is laying on the desert sands, completely naked, dead, and with a match in his hand. What happened?
a guy was stranded in the desert but he don't know shit about desert survival and he took off his clothes and I guess he had a match for smoke signals or something I don't know
I got one: "There is man lying dead in the middle of the woods, but he has diving gear on. What happened?"
I got one: "There is man lying dead in the middle of the woods, but he has diving gear on. What happened?"
diving in a nearby lake and then when he was on his way out of the woods to his car bears
I got one: "There is man lying dead in the middle of the woods, but he has diving gear on. What happened?"
Is this the one with the diver who was picked up by the fire-copter and carried to a fire and fell all dead like to the ground
Is this the one with the diver who was picked up by the fire-copter and carried to a fire and fell all dead like to the ground
I don't know why but I thought of the exact same thing :v:
Paul is 20 years old in 1980, but only 15 years old in 1985. How is this possible?
Paul is 20 years old in 1980, but only 15 years old in 1985. How is this possible?
he has a case of the benjamin button
Paul is 20 years old in 1980, but only 15 years old in 1985. How is this possible?
BC
What gets bigger the more you take away?
A hole. I never got this one, if you take more away from a hole then technically you're taking away emptiness and filling the hole with something.
A hole. I never got this one, if you take more away from a hole then technically you're taking away emptiness and filling the hole with something.
lol shut up
Is this the one with the diver who was picked up by the fire-copter and carried to a fire and fell all dead like to the ground
Bingo
What gets wetter the more it dries?
What gets wetter the more it dries?
towel [editline]15th July 2011[/editline] A rope breaks. A bell rings. A man dies. What happened?
towel [editline]15th July 2011[/editline] A rope breaks. A bell rings. A man dies. What happened?
Buy was in dat bell tower belling away when the rope holding the bell breaks and crushes the guy. SNAP, DING, SPLAT
Buy was in dat bell tower belling away when the rope holding the bell breaks and crushes the guy. SNAP, DING, SPLAT
Nope. [editline]15th July 2011[/editline] Man wasn't holding onto the rope or touching the rope.
Nope. [editline]15th July 2011[/editline] Man wasn't holding onto the rope or touching the rope.
Is the guy disabled in some way? If so I can think of one I believe.
towel [editline]15th July 2011[/editline] A rope breaks. A bell rings. A man dies. What happened?
Obviously, there is a bell on a trigger system in case the man successfully kills himself and the rope breaks so it alerts the police. Duh.
towel [editline]15th July 2011[/editline] A rope breaks. A bell rings. A man dies. What happened?
A blind man likes walking near a sea side cliff using a buoy to gauge his distance to the edge. The buoy's bell tying it to the port breaks, causing it to drift off into the sea. Not knowing this, the man thinks he's way far inland, walks off the cliff, and dies horribly. If it has a quart capacity, how many pennies can you put into a empty piggy bank?
