Hai guys, if anyone is interested~
Nice games that basically everyone has
happy birthday luv <33 [editline]6th January 2012[/editline] not as long as you don't do dumb things with them and as long as you stay away from like herion and shit lmao that shit is for fucking losers.
This. I've done a couple of drugs, but I know better not to touch opiates or stimulants. One of my friends told me "to be careful" as if she was worrying for my wellbeing because I was experimenting with drugs. Which pissed me off because I'm not an idiot. I've never touched an addictive drug before, and I don't plan to. I smoked cigarettes for a year and quit cold turkey (it's been almost 3 months now!). The dumbest drug I've ever done were whippets on New Years, and that's just an inhalant, which doesn't have any addictive nature and doesn't do any actual irreversible damage. [editline]6th January 2012[/editline] My car is being a bitch and I wanna cry. College starts next week and my car is refusing to work. And it may have to do with an electrical short, which involves the computer, which costs hundreds. Fucking hell.
Salvia or weed Only "natural" drugs :v:
I've done drugs, it was fun and all and I had a good night myself but it was a scary experience to see what it did to the others, it really opened my eyes to how it affects people who've been taking them regularly. I don't plan on taking them ever again, was just one time to see for myself.
What drug? [editline]6th January 2012[/editline] Psychadelics intrigue me because it shows how fragile life is. I'm really into theoretical physics, and special relativity shows how easily manipulated SpaceTime can be. DMT is an entheogen, and is found in most (or all?) living organisms. It's the perfect example to show how chemical compounds are literally the language of the universe. Biologists believe chemicals are how plants and animals communicate, which applies to us as well. Our sweat contains chemicals that can cause organisms to react differently. When you do enough DMT, your vision is swallowed up and replaced by whatever DMT wishes. It plays with your time perception, your audio perception and visuals. Our perceptions of the world and reality are heavily influenced by chemicals. Our nervous system is based on chemicals. It's a very dark realization that people who have done psychadelics can really understand first-hand. Which is why I hate people who are like hurr durr drugs, because I'm not shooting up crack, I'm not even remotely interested to. DMT is released upon birth and the last seconds of life. Our consciousness is comprised of chemicals interacting. [editline]6th January 2012[/editline] A shift in consciousness occurs if you change the environment. Someone who is blind experience a different consciousness than someone who can see. You're consciousness begins to restructure itself after about 2 weeks.
How did this turn into Drug Discussion?
It's not like you guys ever talk about anything useful in here. lol
What drug?
Ecstasy Only one I've done, won't be doing any more. I fell in love with a piece of string and sat with my head in a wardrobe for about an hour, my 2 friends spent the whole night telling me how It's okay to be Bi and hugging each other. Then someone did Meth and there was a Machete so we left.
God all this shit about drugs is boring, can we talk about Metanar's autism instead please?
I've always wanted to wear a blindfold for a month. Experience life as if I were blind. I'm curious.
God all this shit about drugs is boring, can we talk about Metanar's autism instead please?
Let's talk about your Girlfriend instead.
let's talk about my dick in that ass
Which ass

any ass. I'm not really spiritual. But I do believe we can feel the presence of things. You can tell if something is infront of your face when your eyes closed. Same concept happens with blind people. I believe our consciousness has the ability to perceive waveforms. Light is something we perceive, across the color spectrum. We see light as we intercept the waveforms and is chemically translated to our brain's perception. However you'd know light only covers a short piece of the electromagnetic spectrum. We can perceive different electromagnetic waveforms, like sound, smell. So it's consistent that we can possibly perceive other electromagnetic waves, despite being incredibly small and invisible.
any ass. Ooh found an interesting article. "Imagine this: you have a person in your office who has become blind after receiving a strong blow to the head that resulted in some brain damage. You present a green ball in his visual field. You ask him if he sees a green ball. He replies no, consistent with the fact that he is blind. Now you tell him to point to the ball (the ball he denies seeing). What happens? He points to where the ball is, even though he has denied seeing it! This phenomenon of "seeing" things one does know one sees is called blindsight." http://serendip.brynmawr.edu/exchange/node/1676
So blindsight is a kind of sight, therefore the blind can see! [sp]Boxes please[/sp]
So what you're getting at is that blindness is all a con and nobody is really blind after all?
So what you're getting at is that blindness is all a con and nobody is really blind after all?
I'm not specifically discussing being blind. Being blind only effects you're ability to perceive light. And people who are blind, are... really blind obviously. I'm not saying they're not. Someone who has been blind they're entire life, imagine what they're consciousness and cognitive thinking patterns resemble. People who are blind have incredible talent when it comes to hearing and smell. Because that's all they've been exposed to. What you see, the colors and everything, only represents a small portion of that spectrum. The same way light works, is the same way every other waveform works like smell, hearing. It's also the same way microwaves, gamma rays, x-rays and radio waves work. DMT works the same way as all the above as well. Electrically. Electric comes from electrons (CORRECTION: electrical impulses are transmitted through ions (which have an excess electron making them a negative charge)). DMT is just the chemical compound made out of the elements, and the elements are made of the subatomic particles. But my point is, at the end of the day, it comes down the electromagnetic waves. Perception as we know it, comes from electromagnetic waves. That's what our universe look like. That picture was used by mapping the cosmic microwaves we receive from our universe. [editline]6th January 2012[/editline] So DMT is once again not some silly dumb drug. It's a compound that gives us a first-hand look at how life works. It's how plants communicate.
Nice games that basically everyone has
Why else am I putting them up? I got them as stuff from the Gift Pile.
You are so wrong. Blindsight is when someone goes blind due to brain damage by destroying the part of the brain that processes vision and sends the information to the conscious part of the brain. What doesn't get damaged is the part of the brain that deals with processes vision and sends it to the unconscious parts. This allows some people who became legally blind from brain damage to react to things through reflex, not decision. For example, if something gets thrown at you fast, you duck out of the way through reflex, not conscious decision. If something is coming right at you slowly, you have time to think about what to do, so that's a conscious decision, and the blind people wouldn't react, yet the blind people would react to the fast moving thing.
Sweet guys we're Mass Debate now. General Games Discussion in 2 hours?

It's not like I'm going to correct about everything. But I understand that. The left and right hemispheres are really interesting. They definitely play a part in the input/output of most information. I didn't fully read the article was too busy doing other stuff.
You don't have to be a dick. It's not like I'm going to correct about everything.
I suggest knowing what you're talking about before talking about the relation of particles, drugs and sight. What the fuck did electrons have to do with anything? What's simple to some is like magic to others.
I dont get ArmA 2. It runs like shit on my computer, yet its really fun and really boring.
I suggest knowing what you're talking about before talking about the relation of particles, drugs and sight. What the fuck did electrons have to do with anything? What's simple to some is like magic to others.
Umm electrons were the first elementary particle to come into existence and are the main reason matter comes together. They play a fundamental role in anything electrical. Asking what electrons had to do anything is pretty ignorant. Considering electrons are what hold atoms together, and atoms are what create us. The question is more like what don't they have to do with. Why are you such an ass? You don't understand many things obviously. If everything I said is bullshit, then how do it work then?
Can we stop talking about fucking drugs. Or at least stop debating on what's right and wrong. Smoke weed every day and chill out.
we're not discussing drugs.
Please?

Smell and sound are not EM waves at all - sound is a pressure disturbance in a gas caused by MECHANICAL vibrations. Smell is particles of a substance hitting your olfactory receptors. Believe me, the invisible parts of the EM spectrum are called invisible because without a machine you CAN'T DETECT THEM. Please learn something about a subject before acting as an authority on it. My source of this knowledge: I am a theoretical physicist.
