Actually, you'll find electrical impulses in the human body are transmitted by ions in the nervous system. Not electrons. Take a look at any basic neurobiology text. It's called an action potential.

I admit in making an assumption when I said electron. But I never said I was right, I was just being observant. I thought it was a good guess. :/
This entire discussion was sparked on me making observations about consciousness because I read someone who seemed oblivious to the role chemicals play.
I figured our perception is based on our nervous system coming in contact with different waves (which like you said is delivered through electrical currents through ions).
So I was right, I just said it wrong. Which I don't deny, because this entire time I never claimed to be completely consistently correct.
