Yeah that'd be a good plan. I'll assume you're getting the train up and so arriving in Waverley Station yes? If so, then there's a little food court in the station (it's not a big station and it's in the centre so it's not hard to spot) which is where we met both times before and it worked well. If you want I can meet you off the train if you give me details of when and what platform and stuff :)

Not far, you can get the number 100 bus from the station to the high street which is where the station is. I'd imagine it won't be more than a 20 minute bus ride, I've never used it though.

Well I have 5 months to sort everything out, I'll most likely take a train, but i'm going to visit my relatives in Manchester and Penrith. Last year when I went, my phone would not work and said "emergency calls only", do I have to configure it to something so it works in other countries?

If you phone is unlocked you might be able to get a "pay as you go" SIM card where you can add credit in increments of £5, £10 etc.
