Atta: Herpes Simplex Type 1 and 2 can start as a cold sore, but as Spycrabz illustrated you can also get blisters. Good thing is, if your friends lucky, he will have type 1, which very rarely gets a re-occurance and auto-magically stops him from getting type 2, which is more likely to re-occur.
