Sorry Crypptic, gave it to one of my stalkers yesterday. [editline]31st January 2012[/editline] Update of the app: the beta is now open to all registered steam accounts.
Yeah why isnt there a straight chat thread. You know for people that dont like taking it up the ass everyday (User was banned for this post ("Trolling" - Craptasket))
Good riddance.
Sorry Crypptic, gave it to one of my stalkers yesterday.
I don't understand your post
Well, time to avoid SH before I get a brain aneurysm.
I don't understand your post
This means that I gave the now useless beta code to one of the people who stalks me who also happens to be a friend of mine.
Well, time to avoid SH before I get a brain aneurysm.
I'm just happy that I'm not the cause.
I'm just happy that I'm not the cause.
That thread had a higher percentage of trolls and idiots than I have ever seen on FP at any given time.
SH?
SH?
Sensationlist Headlines :v:
Sensationlist Headlines :v:
oh. Used to be one of my least favorite boards, but now everything I hate about it moved to the debate section.
I really wish I could love Sensationalist Headlines, but it's one of those sections were people think it's permissible to just go ahead and "MAEK POAST!!"
I really wish I could love Sensationalist Headlines, but it's one of those sections were people think it's permissible to just go ahead and "MAEK POAST!!"
Its always either "Omg those conservative bastards" or "We should bomb the shit out of them for stealing our wallets". I know its not that bad, but theres not really much to be gained out of SH. Well you can find reasons to hate people halfway across the world because of whats said on a forum, but thats not really a good thing.
It's one of the places where people can shitpost and call it an opinion. Like this guy. Literally has no sense of logic. http://www.facepunch.com/members/442525-SomeRandomGuy16
Ugh I need a vacation.
where to? another island?
wow apparently i just can't learn, because now i'm embroiled in another argument with some hypocrite who considers himself "anti-bullying" and a proponent of "acceptance." he's a motivational speaker from my area, wrote a book, the whole deal. Someone on Facebook posted a (actually sort of inflammatory) picture detailing all the questionable marriages of the bible, and then asking if we really want "traditional" marriages. The motivational speaker posted some long rant about how the bible is open to interpretation and how being gay is a sin and crap, and promptly got into an argument with the person who posted the image. I butted in midway when the speaker said something like "being born gay isn't a sin, but acting on it is" and said that he's discouraging people from being themselves. His only response was "that wasn't what I was implying." Then he continued on about how the bible is all loving and accepting, but not without adding that he's against gay marriage. Then I told him, "what if I had a theoretical god that told me homosexuality was totally cool? What makes Christianity more valid?" He proceeded to tell me that "god's miracles" and the fact that he and others have personally "talked to god" prove that Christianity is the only true religion. He added that he wouldn't push it upon me and that he accepts my beliefs, but I'll be damned (pun fully intended) if that doesn't sound a bit confrontational. To be honest, I'm not even angry. I'm just disappointed, because I thought up to this point that he was pretty respectable. I've heard him speak once or twice, and he's pretty great at it. He was bullied in high school a bunch and overcame it via a leadership conference that I also attended, and went on to preach acceptance and the whole nine yards. Don't judge a book by its cover, apparently.
I think that guy had some fucked up hallucinations.
Getting into arguments with religious people is pointless for both sides because neither side is going to accept the ther side's ideals they just turn into fighting with words and sink down to insults and shit

Life life they way you want to live it, there will always be those types of people around until the day you die so it's better for you to just ignore them.

Good speaker, etc. More in general, though, it's because social change will never occur as long as people like this continue to exist. Gay marriage is never going to be legalized if everyone thinks like this, for example.

The real problem is how many things are unnecessarily structured around marriage.

I don't know if you could get married here and get a license and go back to the states but it sure does suck that politicians are so bigoted down there.
I'd say gay marriage is a minor issue. The real problem is how many things are unnecessarily structured around marriage.
Well that too, but it's still not going to change if close-minded religious zealots have their way.
