If you look pass the unpolished and clunky combat, it's probably one of the best written RPGs, and personally I think it has choice impacts that matter more than the Mass Effect series as a whole. You could play the game 3 times and each playthrough would be significantly different than your previous sessions. All the characters as well are quirky, unique and likable in their own way. Hope Obsidian make another one or in a similar setting.
Fucking. This. The gameplay was clunky but it was nothing awful, save for one or two short exceptions. People were demanding a game were your choices actually impact the game, but then they all overlooked this gem. It's insane how differently your campaign can change depending on the order you go about your missions, allies you've made, and prior preparations. Its one of the few games I can think of were you can actually create a persona for your main character, and then act like it. I played as Cool-dude Mc-secret-agent, a sunglasses wearing, wisecracking douchebag with a heart of gold. I expected my character to save the day, get the girl, and drive off into the sunset. Boy could I not be more wrong. By the end of it, I was wanted dead by an elite special ops force, classified and despised by the Russian mob, had links to a terrorist group, and had inadvertently caused the assassination of a high ranking foreign official. My first lover was killed as a hostage, and my second lover was accidentally killed in my final mission. I had completed my mission with extreme prejudice, and made best friends with a reckless but friendly sociopath, who ended up being critical in completing my final operation.
I hate how much stick this game gets. So much fun with a buddy. Fucking. Game. Kinda came and went and didn't get it's deserved attention.
It perplexes me to no end how Final Fantasy VII made it so big when it was the (in my opinion: completely inferior) follow up to a masterpiece like this. If any of the Final Fantasy games deserved to be the big one, the one that everyone talks about, it was this one.
I hate how much stick this game gets. So much fun with a buddy.
It gets stick because resident evil is survival horror, or it was. And co-op is not scary.
It gets stick because resident evil is survival horror, or it was. And co-op is not scary.
That attitude towards the game is why it gets a load of stick. Play it for what it is without this mentality and it's actually a very good game. If it was called something else but was the exact same game I'm sure it would have gotten a better response.
This game is so much fun to play
The intro scared me as a child
Anybody else play this? Why does everybody say it's crap? It was so awesome, traveling through time fighting aliens with so many different vehicle.
I will second this. This was great.

[thumb]http://media.rockstargames.com/rockstargames/img/global/news/upload/maxpayne3_coverart2.jpg[/thumb] Sure, it got great reviews but sold waaaay worse than it deserved to, which is a damn shame. Definitely one of the best games of 2012.
Probably my favorite game to come out so far Still hoping Lionhead Studios will make a 3rd game, the expansion for the 2nd one was a major letdown with all the bugs
Surprised this hasn't been posted yet It's got a nice artstyle and the multiplayer is still pretty damn fun.
I heard they were making a sequel? they did leave it on a cliff hanger! But I agree I was ganna post this game if noone else said <3
[img_thumb]http://static.giantbomb.com/uploads/original/1/14912/846291-unreal2_front.png[/img_thumb] One of my favourite games. [sp]I heard some people were whining about that "The Awakening" didn't have multiplayer, but then some time later there was a multiplayer mod. But I still think that singleplayer is enough for this game.[/sp]
[thumb]http://media.rockstargames.com/rockstargames/img/global/news/upload/maxpayne3_coverart2.jpg[/thumb] Sure, it got great reviews but sold waaaay worse than it deserved to, which is a damn shame. Definitely one of the best games of 2012.
shit gam e
This? This game had a few bad reviews, and almost nobody was talking about it. But the detail in the game was incredible, I actually felt bad about a game for a change, and that fucking ending.
Fucking. Game. Kinda came and went and didn't get it's deserved attention.
I so wanted to buy it, but as soon as I had enough money, It kinda just went over my head.
Definitely one of my favorite games ever, its a shame im the only one i know, who have ever played it.

Love this game, has a real Red Faction feel to it, and a fleshed out inventory system.
I loved the absolute shit out of this when I got my Xbox. The missions are just so fun and it really does feel like a battle on most missions with mass ai on both sides also they're competent. I can still recall the mission where you go deep into the nest to kill the queen with tons of your guys shit was creepy as fuck but fun. Also Stubbs the zombie

Most board games make you hate your friends, and Mario Party is essentially a board game. Ever play Monopoly with friends?
Great game. Best graphics at the time. Probably one of the best campaigns I've ever played. Would recommend this game for anyone who likes tactical shooter games.
PLEASE tell me other people on FP played this game Jeremy Soule did the music. (Same guy who did the music for Skyrim) Also i took the game's menu background to use as phone's animated menu background: Even if you've never heard of it, just listen to that theme Speaks so well of the majesty of 5 organized nations putting their all into the greatest conflict the world's ever seen
