Got My 89' Volvo 240, Everything works perfectly except the radio. Hopefully I can get myself a Camaro from the same year.
86 mazda b2600. I abused it like none other. Curbed it, never checked the oil, ran the tank empty, and it never once died on me, ran like a champ despite all the abuse. A little while ago I got a 2001 Saturn sc1 I almost blew the engine the other day cause I never checked the oil. Just put a sub in myself :D Suicide doors too.
Lucky fucker. You either have rich parents or started driving really late and could just afford a nice car.
I'm 17 but my dad is about to retire so he got a huge sum of money from pensions, so used about £5k of that to get the car and another £1.5k to insure it for me. Next year though I'm going to either have to find insurance money myself or get something cheaper... which is a little bit hard when you're 17... :(
tbh you don't need a tachometer, you can hear when to change just based on the engine tone/ feel of the car's acceleration
I don't have a car nor a licence, my sister nearly did til she wasted near enough a grand on driving lessons and doing her theory only to have it expire after 2 years which seems to have said to my parents not to bother even attempting with me though I bet once my younger sister wants to drive she'll get all the money she wants.
A guy I know at school riced his first car. It too was a Chevy Corsica.
Audi.
My first car: a Mercedes Benz 190D

I drive a ten year old BMW. Dunno model name, they letters fell off or something, they're not there :\ This is a lot like it but not it: [img_thumb]http://www.carwale.com/images/RoadTests/BMW320d/38.jpg[/img_thumb] Was only 7,000 too. :D I still use it, it's nice.
yeah sure the tape deck and the turbo don't work but i love it like a child
[IMG_thumb]http://koti.phnet.fi/megado/sekalaista/helmat/_mg_4979_bc_web.jpg[/IMG_thumb] Except mine is sky blue with black trim.
My first car is going to be a Veyron. :downs:
My first car, 1988 Pontiac Trans Am GTA. 5.7L 350TPI, WS6 suspension, every option except t tops which I don't like, and Ive had it for 2 years so far.
This was my first car. I used to love it: Then I wrote it off after crashing into the back of my friend when he slammed on his breaks to stop for a red light and I couldn't stop in time. Was a write off because the sub-frame was pushed back about 6 inches, radiator punctured, oil pumped destroyed and steering coloumn was bent, the insurance would have classed it as a write off so instead of informing them, I sold it for spares on ebay and got £800 for it, better than getting pretty much nothing from the insurance and having a high premium next year. I took a loan out and bought a new one. It didn't even have 30,000 miles on the clock!
I had an '89 Mazda as my first vehicle, and it was worked like a mule. Would pack it full of logs, stumps, rocks, etc, to move around. Hardy beast. Still ran even after I took it down an incline and wound up looking like a rhino made love to it. Was honestly a great little truck; I regret my parents made me get rid of it. I'm going to be experiencing my own "first car" in a week or two.
2001 toyota sienna VAN Really fun to drive and has great acceleration, but doesn't like to accelerate from medium to high speeds very well, like 50-80, but I've gotten it to go 105 mph :D

I'm buying a newer Honda off of my parents. It's a converted squad car, and it's pretty nice. But my dream car has to definitely be a Chevy Camaro 2010. Such a sexy beast.
There goes my car :smug: :frown:
i have two camaro isn't ready yet though
Oh what I would do for a 60's Camaro.
The car my parents got me is a Pontiac Grand Dam, it's green with a red tinted interior.
My first car was a 1998 Ford Explorer. Great to have back in High-school, as I could load up tons of people in it to go to the beach. Traded that in + $5000 to get myself a 1997 BMW 740i.
Green Saturn SL2 that hates the world and all its inhabitants. I think it wants us to let it die...
If you want a car that will never break down, even if you want it to, Honda accords are the way to go. For a car that's been in constant use for 13 years, the only things broken in it's operational history is the lock system, and the auto-windows are a bit laggish.
