I agreed this could be a nice feature as well.

Right now you can just go to your public user page (in your case it's https://modmountain.com/users/557733d95adb07855e645a82) but we can add a link to make it easier to find and easier to share.
I would definitely make it a button on the edit profile (Preview Profile) or (See how others see me). Just makes it easier.

Done.

Is this going to be the Facebook version of scriptfodder?
There appears to be a lot of emphasis put into the profiles.
What kind of protection will we have against leakers etc here? That's the sort of information I'm interested in.

I wouldn't say the Facebook version, I'm not interested in the mass collection of private data. We've put emphasis into public profiles to help developers and customers build an identity for themselves. Some of our upcoming features will be shaping Mod Mountain into more than just a marketplace, so we want to make sure that no one is a stranger.
We're still developing our automated leak protection / DRM system but we still have some basic stuff in place. Any addon that gets uploaded is scanner and broken down into chunks. These chunks are hashed and compared against every other chunk that been uploaded. It's similar to Youtube's Content ID system (hopefully with less false positives) and allows us to find people who upload works they don't own.
When our DRM system is done it will be much more difficult to leak addons but some people (with development knowledge) may be able to remove the system. If this happens, all the developer has to do is alert us to the leak and we'll handle the DCMA process for them.

I find it great that you'll do the DCMA process since alot of developers are either lazy, don't know how or just don't want too. will greatly help with leaks
Just a little suggestion here, but when you're looking at a script it would be nice for the author to have profile linked. Have it so says like by "blah blah" then you are able to click on it and it leads to that person's profile.
As of right now you have something similar to it but it's at the bottom and it's just text not hyperlink.

Sending a DCMA can be a scary process and many are intimidated by it. Fortunately it's fairly easy and doesn't take up my time. We're more than happy to help developers with little things like that, it's the least we can do.

That's what happens when you code the store before the public user pages. Working on fixing this, expect it in a few hours.
Just submitted a script after the third attempt.

Approved. Could you elaborate on the third attempt bit? Were you encountering site errors? Also, I fixed your video link for you, it is embedded properly. The only other thing I ask is that you change your addon's folder to have an all lowercase name with no spaces, to improve Linux compatibility.
Another suggestion
On the navigation add a staff page to display all staff of Mod Mountain, along with this you could add a little thing under the profile pic on the users page displaying their rank.
Dropping the formal hive-mind like speak for this post and probably a few more,
I've spent the last two weeks greatly overhauling many major features, fixing bugs, and adding tons of new stuff. I plan to push this update late tomorrow night and will then be taking the weekend off. I've been burning the candle at both ends for over a week and I desperately need some rest.
That being said, here's a sneak peek at what you can expect:
- PayPal support
- Direct payments (Users pay developers directly, no middleman. Optional setting for developers)
- Addon versioning (+ a unique feature to help combat piracy)
- Greatly improved site performance (up to 4x in some cases)
- Revamped account system (Steam is no longer required, as some games are not on Steam)
- Detailed addon statistics (like Google Analytics but for your addons)
- Google Analytics support (in case you don't like our analytics, you may use your own GA account (: )
- Addon permalinking / short URLs (Using the modmtn.com domain)
- New super sexy REALTIME addon editor / creator (see pics below)
- Tons of little things I've forgotten
If you have any feature you want implement (preferably small), please let me know ASAP. If I can't squeeze it into tomorrow's update, I'll get to work on it as soon as Monday rolls around.
Old Editor (just look how long and disgusting that form is):

New Editor (page is a little long but I didn't feel like zooming out):

The new editor looks exactly like an addon's store page, allowing you to see how things will look publicly while editing stuff at the same time. It's like a WYSIWYG editor but for addons. Everything updates with the server in real-time (including the slideshow up top), so there's no data loss if you navigate away from the page. You don't even need to sign in to use the editor, allowing anyone to try it out without committing to an account.
Any and all feedback is appreciated. Let me know what you think (:
Looks awesome, great work!
This looks like it'll be great :) nice job
edit: can I post gamemodes
edit2: it says '0 usd' at the top but i'm in euro.. will this make a difficulty
I don't understand why you have a /login/ page, it just 404's and you used Steam login anyway so what's the point of it even attempting to exist?
The addons section is god awful for design, the reset button on the filter doesn't work. The filters don't work as a whole. The tags inside the Server Hopper don't even exist in the filters section. Needs a logo but that's a side thing because the one on there is pretty bland. Anyway, that's my opinion, take that as you want.

Login page is a result of some code making it into production that isn't complete yet (the new login system). The design is kind of weird inside the addons area, I've drafted out a new look but haven't finalized anything. Filters appear to have been broken by an intern, will have to fix that in tonight's patch.
Tags aren't intended to show up in the filters lists. They're supplied by the developer so there would be an overflow of tags. They're being used for our search system along with the "similar addons" system.
None of us are designers so we haven't put any work into a logo yet. We'll either hold a contest or hire a designer.
Thanks for your feedback!
Interestingly enough apart from popular opinion I could see this website overtaking scriptfodder. If everything works out the right way. I very much so enjoy the tags system and the profiling bit. It gives buyers, developers and users an insight as to what they are getting into when contracting or vice versa. He has promised a lot and hasn't showed much but I think this could be the start of something.
This is coming from someone who has used other marketplace websites similar to yours and scriptfodder.
However the odds are against you and I have seen many websites like yours fail, I wish you the best of luck.
