Delicious project. But fix the problem with the revision 1031 :3
What IS Gmodplus???!
Found this when i spawn in revision 1032. autorun/gmp_addon_functions.lua:71: table index is nil
WHY CAN'T ANYONE EXPLAIN TO ME ONE THING. What is this? Where do I use it? I am right now SVNing it into my addons folder. Is it a separate game?
I'm sorry I've yet to explain what it is, but please understand right now this is just a bunch of developers talking about the future of this project for now.
What IS Gmodplus???!
As far as I know, it's a great big addon that brings huge amounts of new content to gmod without you having to trawl through gmod.org. He's trying to make it so you actually get a 'new' version of gmod when you install it, with new default gamemodes stools n shit, so that people will assume that other people have it and act accordingly, such as they assume that people have wire/phx.
Why is it too hard just to type a few sentences for a brief description of what it is?
Your server is wanting me to download over 100 models for Wire. :/ I suppose I'll go get Wire, almost every server I try to join does this to me, it's getting annoying.
Download wire and then delete the lua folder. You now have all the models without the annoyance of wire. :v: I think I'll upload the "lua-less wire pack" I use next time I go into uni. It's got a few extra little luaery things in it that fix the error spam that addons/maps cause when they assume every client will have a full install of wire, and the models are never updated on the SVN. :3: [editline]09:02PM[/editline]
Thank you, you have always been one of those people I trust on facepunch :keke: So It's a whole new game or what?
That's nice to know. :o As to your question, I'm not sure, I haven't bothered to look in the SVN yet. I believe it's just so much Lua the base gmod changes under the weight.
I'm SVNing it now, I hope it doesn't rape my Garry's Mod, it took me like a day to install it lol.
Incidentally despite you breaking my automerge I must still point out that is a much better avatar than the one you're using, as it's got alpha and takes up the full width. [editline]09:05PM[/editline] Oh god you did it again
I don't understand why everyone likes wire. Its pretty big and seems to be of hardly any use, apart from contraption building.
BTW: good idea for addon I must say.
I don't understand what you're trying to say. @lexic
I don't understand why everyone likes wire. Its pretty big and seems to be of hardly any use, apart from contraption building.
This.
I don't understand what you're trying to say. @lexic
Which bit?
I got nostalgia from the name.
I got nostalgia from the name.
That's the idea. It's a good thing the original GM+ was subtitled "GMod 9 Version."
That's the idea. It's a good thing the original GM+ was subtitled "GMod 9 Version."
Fix the swep error please :/
I will, please be patient with me. I am currently packaging SWEP Bases for developers.
I'm sorry to say that I'm experiencing the SWEP mishap as well, I just can't equip any of them. I even tried installing GM+ into a vanilla Gmod folder and they still won't work. Is there something I'm doing wrong here? EDIT: Nevermind, I just now saw CptFuzzies' post above me. ^^; Sorry about that.
No, what you're facing is a problem with an untested environment. I need to get to debugging this right away. My apologizes. I just now finished compiling SWEP Bases into a separate repository, so I will address this issue right this very moment.
Incidentally despite you breaking my automerge I must still point out that is a much better avatar than the one you're using, as it's got alpha and takes up the full width.
This part :P
For all people currently facing SWEP spawning problems, on a vanilla build, I currently face no issues.
This part :P
That means "Use this image as an avatar, it's better than the one you're using"
Or rather, just ban him for a more realistic effect.
For all people currently facing SWEP spawning problems, on a vanilla build, I currently face no issues.
So wait, if you aren't experiencing the problem, then how will we know just what the problem is? D:
Good question.
Issue number 1. I can't spawn any weapons. Issue number 2. How do I get rid of the legs? :v:
Yeah, the legs are annoying.
cl_drawlegs 0 cl_drawshadow 0 [editline]02:45PM[/editline] Or disable player entities in the features menu, use the command menu_features. [editline]02:48PM[/editline] I just updated the repository, "Player Entities" is now a feature which can be enabled/disabled.
