How about a going to sleep/sleeping/getting up from sleep animation? I'm sure you could probably use it for a tranquilliser dart, maybe a a corpse getting up from death (brains, ha ha.) or some other uses I can't think of right now.
One handed pistol. Having two hands on a small pistol/potato shooter gun is silly.
Holstering/Deploying weapon animations. Could be used to grab something out of/put something in the pocket as well.
Flicking a switch/pushing a button. Dunno about this one.
Mini gun holding animation.
Now for some never going to be implemented, yet funny to think about animations.

It wouldn't only be handy for a minigun, it could be used for holding other 'heavy' things too. Garry's Mod currently lacks a holding type that makes the object look really heavy.

You could use the shotgun hold type for a minigun, it looks really heavy :D
And the one handed pistol was a good idea, maybe that could be for the default HK Usp match, since you hold it in one hand in the v_model
Is it possible we could get a decent jump animation? That or some kind of swimming and flying for swimming and noclip.
EDIT: Also consider adding the combine soldier weapon melee animation.

It will make it look a hell of a lot better.
An Underhand Throwing animation would be awesome. Like a toss, we have an overhand throwing animation (Grenades), but, nothing for lightly tossing an object.
How about a bike riding animation? Like one for a bicycle and one for a motorbike (leant forward).
New turn animations would be nice, i think that's part of the problem with turning is it's blending animations right now.
Also side stepping, the legs cross through each other. :argh:
A few riding animations would be cool too. And throwing animations, the current overhand throw looks so FUCKING RETARDED, as you run around with your arm like a flagpole.

Also the jump crouch animations are buggered, if you jump and then crouch your player model jumps up even higher. (Starts the crouch from head, instead of feet.)
Also the "startoff" animations from stand still to walk are like non-existant. You just slide on the ground until your up to speed then walk.

There are already fists/punching animations.
Not the crowbar swing. Real punches like you were trying to hit someone in the jaw.

How does it look in TF2, which is all about the animations?
How about an "I'm unhappy for being in jail and want out" animation? Or a friendly greeting like a wave. I do like the idea of swimming/falling/noclip animation idea. How about leaning against a wall animation or sitting on the ground?
The citizens have a greeting/wave, and I don't think you need an unhappy animation.
Also hell yeah, give them swimming/falling/noclip animations like in TF2.
All of these animations look great and all, but how would I go about using them? I'm sure it's rather easy, but I can't seem to find anything on the wiki. So say I want the player to look like he's sitting when he spawns. How would I do that?

Something I think would be equally important as making the animations, would be to go through the wiki and make sure it's properly documented on how to use them. some small examples, maybe Pose Parameter lists..
It'd be a shame if you did all this work, and only a handfull of lua coders actually knew how to use it.
