Why does every time I get near the positives for smartness, Facepunch has to screw me over?
There will absolutely be no abusive animations, IE: No face palming, no giving the finger, no mooning, no... blah blah blah.. Get my drift?

I didn't really think of a facepalm animation as abusive, more for comedy and/or machinima. Oh, I was playing UT3 and I got this random thought..Maybe animations meant specifically for a hoverboard or skateboard? The animations that are used right now for the hoverboard look quite weird, to be honest. It'd be nice to see animations made for it, since it's such a popular addon.
Maybe i missed it but what about a riotshield animation?

I didn't read all of the posts so i don't know if it has been suggested, but couldn't a prone position animation be useful?
There are some swep packs out there that still have w_models of weapons placed at the crotch. Like this one: [url]http://forums.facepunchstudios.com/showthread.php?t=529055[/url] I think that's the CSS attachments not getting translated?
CSS attachments will be dealt with later. The next thing that will be done is a zombie hold type
Is there anyway you can add more attachments in general? Specifically foot attachments would be more interesting.
I don't know if this is an animation problem but the viewmodel animations for when you fire a cs:s gun are broken all they do is just sit there with the idle animation.
Bump Animations for swimming and climbing ladders would be nice. Don't know if the climbing ones would be doable, though.
When would we be able to use a counterstrike model ( or a custom model based off css ) and have them hold weapons and animate properly? Also a useful animation would be sitting on the ground like at a camp fire.
DarkNova did you put the cs_fix.mdl into garrysmod? It sorta crashes a server if you spawn it.
yea i did, it's a rigging file. not smart to try and spawn it.
How well are these integrated? Also, would it be possible to choose the animations you use as a player or is that too far fetched?

.... all the m_anim.mdl m_shd.mdl f_anim.mdl etc.etc. can all be used to crash it, they were there before i came along. Not exactly my problem, ill make a note of it tho.
Okay, Well it sounds like garry is planing a update soon again. Would there be a way to maybe just force it to spawn as an effect. The world_include.mdl spawns as one, and it sounds like it is a little similar to the model anim files as it is not a real model.
What about player interaction? Hugging, High five?
Sorry for the bump, but do you think you can re-compile all the player models so they all have the same attachments? The police.mdl has some attachments the rest don't have, and vice versa..Makes it difficult to make certain things. I'm currently using the "center" attachment for something, but that only exists on police.mdl and there's not really any other way to do what I'm doing..
are we able to use all of the new hold types and the anims listed on the first page now?
