Just watched judging session again for The Bronx and I'm a bit disappointed that nobody read the instructions :c Also crouching makes you unhittable for some reason? That was actually an issue I tested and fixed long before I made the logic of the gamemode. Oh well, at least most of the stuff I tested worked during judging.
Infact, Robotboy, supposedly hasn't played multiplayer in years, i think wgcc has marked history

When Will the results be public, do you needs more thanse 1 weekend?

Just watched the video of my gamemode, Toon Wars. That was the 3-team fortress deathmatch gamemode. I saw a few things that caught my eye in the stream. I tested the gamemode on a single computer so the top-down respawn map view seems to be offset based on screen size. Good to know. The cell shading, or sobel, is a clientside console command called tw_sobel. Higher decimal means less black lines. The weapons use the mad cow's base and I swear if your recoil isn't fucking huge then when you aim down the sights it becomes a damn laser. I chose to have high hipfire recoil instead. All in all, I think this was a GREAT way to get more than 5 people to test my gamemode before I release it for real. I will definitely participate in the next competition. Also, I have no idea how I let teamkilling and noclip slip through lol.

I had a lot of fun picking everyone off one by one from my base with a sniper, but it seems a bit silly that I'm able to do that. (Any news on the results? :v:)
gonna be a while, OP got banned for a day

I'm personally interested in porting the weapons I used for the Bronx GB3K to ToonWars. The base is made by Awcmon and it is much more updated and stable than Mad Cows, and the recoil isn't retarded (unless you want it to be). I feel it would really help TW with the “toon” theme because as is it isn't that cartoonyvon its own.

You can PM me though if you want to work something out with me. :)
Oh, no worries, WaT was originally non-toony. I'll PM you his repository so you can try it out for yourself.
Does anyone know if Exploderguy has all the ballots ready yet for when he gets unbanned?
I'm happy to see that Garrys-Mod still has gusto. Every `Game-Mode` is awesome in their own way, it would be hard for me to decide exactly which one deserves to win. Competitions are epic, because they promote public contributions. Public Contributions should be a more general thing. I hate Garrys-Mod now because everyone is too busy selling LUA for $$$. This competition promotes everything I've loved about Garrys-Mod for ~~5 years. I really hope the future of GarrysMod is not going to be bombarded with people requesting 5$ for a script that takes 1 hour to make. Instead, there should be a reward for public contributions.
Does anyone know if Exploderguy has all the ballots ready yet for when he gets unbanned?
When I spoke to him this morning he was still waiting for some of the results from some of the judges.

I hope Ragdoll Combat wins, that's like my new favorite gamemode. I've been playing the shit out of it the past couple days. [editline]23rd July 2015[/editline] Got a pretty good reputation of winning almost every round too.

I'm not sure what he'd do to me if I didn't give it to him.
Does anyone know if Exploderguy has all the ballots ready yet for when he gets unbanned?
Still havnt got all the results, still waiting :( Btw judges, can you pm me a link to your results? Obviously waiting on steam is not efficient.
Prod them with something judges hate. Threaten them with errors?
That is cruel and unusual.
Entered this competition with the intent to get glod Glod doesn't matter to me anymore now that my gamemode turned out to be shit and people had to figure out how to play it
How about a deadline? Give them two more days or so to submit or their ballots are void.
I think they had to learn how to play all of ours lol. Ragdoll combat is really the only one that didnt need instructions to jump right into the game.
I think they had to learn how to play all of ours lol. No description of which each did.
i am missing something or have the judges still not posted their judgement, if that's the case isen't it embarrassing that we could make a gamemode in one week, but you cant even judge it? :O (written in a friendly and teasing manner)
I'm actually quite disappointed in the judging personally
Voting to rename this competition "3 weeks Garry's Mod gamemode competition 2015" with the tagline "1 week of development, 1 week of waiting for judges, and 1 week of losing hope and eventually results come out." [sp]/s[/sp]
Is Shotz dead or something?
