I suggested the idea for a competition ages back on facepunch. I'm glad now it became a reality. Although I wish I could participate, I'm happy someone came up with the idea.
College has been dealing me 60 calculus questions per day, for the past 2 weeks. My schedule is packed, and there wouldn't be much done at the end of the week. I hope this contest won't be the last!!!!!!!

Nothing? You have half an hour to show off your gamemode. Feel free to only use 5 minutes of it though if you [I]really[/I] want :v:. The 5 minutes thing is about giving us the time to judge the gamemode AFTER playing it. This means that your gamemode needs not to spaz out for 5 minutes after you call the hook. That's all.

Magic ties in pretty well with one of my less-favorite ideas. I might fuck around with rendering to see what kind of cartoon-style effects I can achieve...

Alright, I think I'm going with cartoon and one of my better ideas. This one is going to be a pain in the ass to do but should be pretty entertaining. Only problem is that I have to make it look cartoony somehow... I'll probably just swap out the textures and maybe fuck with shader parameters a bit.
