Runing lua on half life 2 - Developers

I intend on making the SourceMod have a more pure distribution of Lua, with less features, and having the game load content from as many Source games as I can mount using the SDK. I'm just learning from it, really, but I finally got LuaBind and Lua packaged in with the source code. I'm just trying to find out where the best place is to start creating console commands to run lua strings, and where I should bind the classes to. I was assuming maybe hl2mp_gamerules.cpp, since it's shared?

Look, to put it simply: You want to run lua programs/scripts/whatever in the GAME Half-Life 2. At the moment, HL2 does simply not support lua. When Garry Newman made the mod for Half-Life 2 called Garry's Mod, he used lua to handle a majority of things. Unless you can make your own HL2 mod to run lua, there is no other way to run lua in HL2. Hope that helps without insulting you.

I'm just gonna say this. People on the internet (unless they're little kids, or are just plain immature) respect you more if you use proper grammar and punctuation. Overall it will make you seem smarter and people will take you more seriously.
