Yeah but we don't know if garry did do some special fixes in gmod's vphysic, and what kind of optimizations (if present) have the csgo's physic.
Someone should benchmark it.
(On srcds, so we don't care about the draw calls)
I will look into it tonight when I get off work and see if I can figure out some way to measure any differences.

No one besides valve, and maybe full licensees (Titan Fall), has access to the vphysics code.

I doubt there are "optimizations" in CS:GO physics, if anything, there's more broken stuff if we are to believe the CS:GO community.
There are no changes to vphysics from Garry or Facepunch, we do not have the sources for it.
Finished Leveling on MWG ^^

I don't think there is any difference in vphysic iterations between Source 1 games.

Engine base differences, CSGO, Insurgency, Stanley Parable, L4D2, or anything that runs on 2013 base (or whatever one was after portal 2) won't work.
If it wasn't for the weapon selection menu, I wouldn't have guessed it was Gmod

- Fixed docking problems
- Removed ugly rainbow in favor for solid color
- Added settings page
Now just to add info (ping, money, playing time, anything else) and user menu (goto, bring, (re)spawn, etc)

The buttons definitely need more contrast. Other than that though, it looks way better.

Allow the customization of the background. You can do a lot with grey but you'll be restricting customization by not allowing people to change it.
The fact that the tabs are floating apart from everything else like that REALLY bothers me.
On top of that the round does not fit when everything else is square.
The "The Garry's Mod VPhysics Replacement Project" is abandonned.
So i tried to see how others source game's vphysic works in gmod...
(Go to 00:13)

Gmod's dll is like 800kb and CSGO's one is like 1.1mb, i'm wondering if the addition they did can actualy improve gmod performance (If they did some optimization/fixes...)
This bug is actualy possible to reproduce with gmod default vphysic dll but easier to make with CSGO's one. (Or maybe just placebo effect)
Lol.
Physics is still good. With Havok's VPhysics Engine:

Hey, I wanna show a boss too:

(no idea why gm_video broke the webm quality during last few seconds)

So since im now banned at the darkrp forums, i thought i start one of my projects again.

The Idea behind it, is to have an Clothing system. Most of the work focus is lying on the backend, that's why the derma looks so shitty.
As soon i've managed to get that to an good state, i gonna start working on an inventory addon, to ultilize this idea further.

Please for the love of god link the raw webm to gfycat's sites
try lowering your resolution at all while viewing any 1920x1080 or 4k things
it's fucking terrible
you have to scroll to the right/left and up/down to see anything on my shitty 1366x768 laptop

I woke up in a new Bugatti! :godzing:
the lack of shadows under those cars are like the biggest annoyance

double click the video
I always appreciate the input guys.
Regardless of the ratings, I genuinely enjoy being here.
I will include the shadows. I agree, it's annoying.
double click the video
Double clicking shouldn't even have to occur, you can literally embed the video into the thread.
So there's a sv_allowcslua bypass that has to do with the HTML tabs in spawnmenu, so I am working on a Lua replacement for those, but I can't figure out how to do this properly. Currently I am going for consistency with other spawnmenu tabs, but there are a few problems like I don't know how to better do the pagination stuff, and where to put the Save Dupe button. ( Same for Saves tab )

The current implementation has the added benefit of being able to save dupes ( local and maybe even from the workshop ) in your spawnlists, although I do not know whether I should keep this or not, for the workshop file or local dupe being deleted reasons.

why not just make a whitelist of functions that can be run on that html panel?

That is a neat feature, if possible I'd like to see it stay.

That's something I did not think of :v:
[editline]26th October 2015[/editline]
But it is sort of a stupid "fix". It's more a workaround, than a fix.
