I wouldn't even know where to start in creating a demo SENT for this. I've already read that I need to use Jinto's example, but I really don't know what I'm doing with lua, other than where to place it for install.
same here, I know basic lua but I can't seem to get this to work
I'm tinkering around with the portal code he gave us. It is DEFINITELY not full, because A LOT of the variables you have to figure out what they are for yourself. [b]Edit:[/b] PS: This is also not for the basic lua knowledged. This is not your every day LUA.

What's going on :( [b]Edit:[/b] Another useful bit, it seems that the RT view is being pushed back a little bit, as it is showing the INSIDE wall of the big place on construct.
Wow Jinto, you continue to amaze me. This is awesome stuff, I am agreeing with whoever said this should be built into Garry's Mod. This functionality looks quite awesome.
So where can I get this jinto-versioned portal gun swep?

I will be making the jintofied portal swep for you guys. I've already got the through-the-portal view and portal ents perfect, now I just have to do the hard part.. The physics. :uhoh: Some key points about my portals so far: [list]No lag. Whatsoever. I compared the FPS with and without the portal and it did not change at ALL.[/list] [list]No annoying blackness around it[/list] [list]Does not interfere with your RT screens[/list] [list]Players can have their very own portals to each of them. I have been messing around with the Fog parts of this. I cannot get the fog to be enabled. I tried: [lua]render.SetFogMode( MATERIAL_FOG_LINEAR )[/lua] to turn it on but, It wont turn on. When I use: [lua]render.GetFogMode()[/lua] It outputs 0.

You can also make green eggs and ham with it too.
