ASAmod - Advanced Server Administration Modification

So what I post as an example on my rules page because I heard it on the TV when I was witting it determines the maturity of the admin mod?
Yes.
Didn't know that, oh well. lol

I just read this thread over again, it is pretty funny actually. Like if I saw some kid posting this and didn't know him, I'd think he's a 12 year old loser. I guess I gotta think of everyone else's point of view.
At least you understand where we're coming from.
To be honest if it was me, I'd prefer a nice clean squarish look than a rounded bubbly one with an odd color scheme, i know you can code pretty damn good PC Camp, you just need to learn a bit about presentation in a GUI. You'll figure it out, I'll be waiting for this Mod.
Final production of the scoreboard!!! It has a unique hostname display because the elements around it auto adjust to the size and length of the hostname string. It can also fit really long hostnames!

Any more suggestions?

Now I can get some sleep...
I know everyone has said this before but that's one of the ugliest things I have ever seen.
Can someone lock this thread? I've gotten some more wonderful core ideas so I gotta pretty much rewrite the core components. This won't be released for another month or so.
Ideas about the scoreboard or about all?
Scoreboard: I don't like the digital font, Can you change it to "Coolvetica" (The Gmod font)?
In general:
Can you add an easy way to create groups and manage their privileges, their colour? (Like kick, ban...)
And... Can you add some administration things like Jail, maul, speed and that kind of commands?
I like how it looks like, please, still developing it, maybe I'll use it in my server.
I don't think people are reading what I have posted; the scoreboard is fully customizable.
[lua]
xAdmin.VGUI.SchemeA = {r=4,g=129,b=158} -- blue
xAdmin.VGUI.SchemeB = {r=255,g=170,b=0} -- yellow
xAdmin.VGUI.SchemeC = {r=255,g=53,b=0} -- orange
xAdmin.VGUI.SchemeDarkA = {r=1,g=83,b=103}
xAdmin.VGUI.SchemeDarkB = {r=166,g=110,b=0}
xAdmin.VGUI.SchemeDarkC = {r=166,g=35,b=0}
xAdmin.VGUI.SchemeLightA = {r=56,g=178,b=206}
xAdmin.VGUI.SchemeLightB = {r=255,g=191,b=64}
xAdmin.VGUI.SchemeLightC = {r=255,g=104,b=64}
xAdmin.VGUI.SchemeFont = "WhiteRabbit" -- font you want to use
xAdmin.VGUI.SchemeFontBold = 400 -- 400 = regular, 700 = bold
xAdmin.VGUI.SchemeBorder = 0 -- thickness of border, 0 = 1 thick, -1 = none
xAdmin.Rules = [[

2. More rules here

Be sure to visit facepunchstudios.com for some gmod stuff. lol

I changed the name by the way; xAdmin. The x is a variable of a word for anything you want it to mean. It's kinda like apples use of the letter i in front of their products.
IMO best color theme designer http://kuler.adobe.com/
Ignore most of them, the ones complaining. I personally love the second revision of the scoreboard, the this one

It's called constructive criticism. How will he improve it without taking in constructive criticism?
Yeah, but i was talking about the trolls. The ones who are just saying "ugh it looks ugly" without anything to fix.
I have a somewhat stupid question with the scoreboard. How are you drawing the gradient effect? Like, how its darker near the sides and brighter in the center. Is this a texture or some draw function I've missed.
On a on topic note, I think the theme could work, but the font for the text is horrid.
Hello PC Camp. It seems like both you and I love advanced administration mods. I believe that the Garry's Mod community needs this more than ever, and I support you to 100%.
I think that the design and colors of the admin mod should be considered, you should maybe consider hiring a artistic pro (Just to get some ideas and such). But it will probably work out for you.
I would like to offer you all the help that I can offer you. Well, and that is my feedback and my server.

When you create this mod I would really suggest that you take some ideas from Citrus and maybe Kuromeku (Conna). I think that the Citrus features are the most advanced yet. And it would be quite good if much data from the admin mod were saved in garrysmod/data or maybe in some other area for data and information.
Well, just think about Citrus and see if can get any ideas from it. Because my choice as an very advanced server owner, is Citrus or your administration mod.
Anyway, PM me if you want to use my server as a BETA tester.
My eyes!
That is buttfuckingly horrible. I guess its good for learning how to code but god almighty the design is like the result of Barney shitting in the boxes I'm about to get and then throwing them at his computer screen.

It's people like you that really piss me off. Your the one acting like a child. Grow some, and tell what he should do to make it better. Saying "It's buttfuckingly horrible." doesn't help.
Looks good, hopefully some more advanced features are implemented. If they are, no one will give a shit about the scoreboard.
He quit garrysmod. No point to post.
admins are abusive, why give them power?

Some of us don't have the time to stay online and monitor servers 24/7.

An Admin without powers is a simple player.

This. Which is why I automate an awful lot of stuff - I can ban people for having BaconBot installed simply by looking in my server's data folder rather than needing to lurk three weeks at a time.
