for me it crashes too and i know what function in the bot.lua makes it its the controller:Run

To me the same problem.
Is it possible to make the bot use a grav gun by finding closest prop and grabbing it then aiming back at nearest player?
that would be really neat, and if the prop is out of the gravguns reach, make the bot walk the distance? but we don't want this to look like robots that move like a block, is it possible to make his aim somewhat...

Anyway, I'm glad you bumped this, since when I first saw it I had no idea Gmod even had bots and thus did not realize how awesome this is. Hopefully someone will make a basic deathmatch AI- that would be sweet.

Whoa, I thought this went to the archives. Well I'll fix it up so it'll run on the ep2 engine. ConCommands would be a bad idea for controlling a bot.
Thanks I've been stuggling to find an example of a module which extensively uses metatables, user data and pointers.
PS: Does anyone know how to use that GetAllMemebers function?
Hmm... I just figured out that parenting him to a prop and welding him to the world while making him attack, jump and go forward... will crash. Oh, and he was ignited too.

Please hurry up with this, I've seen people use bots in gmod but I know of no other way to do it, and the download is broken. :(
