Goes in C:\Program Files\Notepad++, you need to force override it, so close notepad++ and paste it in. If I left out anything, which I might have, you can manually add in the stuff you want from the other highlighter's configuration. The built in language wasn't really tested too much, meaning some styles might be off, but with a little work you can get it running without much hassle.
Yes, I chopped that out of a PM, but none the less, it doesn't lag in Windows 7, which is a major benefit.
I never got a screencap of my area:

Holy shit! I never knew Zune could stream video thumbnails without being hovered ove-- Wait, were you hovering over Zune to make the thumbnail come up or is that automatic? By the way, nice config on N++, looks great. Mind sharing your color scheme?
Kopimi, why background/theme/skin are you using for your right screen?
I have Gmod windowed and stretched to the maximum with NP++ in the background and Firefox with gmod wiki and other forums and music playing from my laptopt next to me.
indeed nicatronTg, share the color scheme :D
also, whats the H icon in your taskbar?
i should totaly get one of mine :p but it would be redundant as its quite the same as anyone else with 2 screens :p

If you quickly move your mouse over it, sometimes it sticks like that. You can reduce the size to a little bigger than that and it becomes always on top, which is nice. Just drag the size down 'till it snaps and voilà.

Color scheme - Bespin with that config, the font is DejaVu Sans Mono.

H stands for AutoHotKey, it's a script that when I hit windows + 1, it turns off the monitor & locks the computer.
I'll probably work on the config later today, and add in anything I missed. I didn't expect the response would be this good. If you don't already know, it makes the Lua highlighter highlight most GLua portions.
oooooh autohotkey :p i usually use autoit if i need something like that :3
GMod in windowed mode, NotePad++ windowed down in fullscreen, and listening to my favorite music on iTunes. Stuff by cornandbeans sometimes helps me think.
I modified nicatronTg's lang file thingy he PM'd me and now I'm using this theme

I'm really loving it. There's something relaxing about the dark color.

Could I have that theme? I hate looking it full white screens late at night.
You know Windows + L does that, well, minus the monitor turning off. That's just lazy.
Uh no, it's called that the power button for my monitor is on the side, which is blocked by various hanging objects. I used to use Windows L but I don't turn this box off, so it's only logical to turn the monitor off over night.
My stylers.xml for my config. If you have the config file installed, replace C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Notepad++\stylers.xml with this: http://shank.pastebin.com/UDverQyy
If you have the syntax highlighter I put out, that will replicate the theme I have, which is quite easy to look at at night.
i use a single screen, with notepad++ open.
then i open gmod.
then i test.
then i close gmod.
then i code.
repeat this cycle 1-30 times.
I guess I'm weird for listening to top 40 music when programming :v:
Same. I only have 1 monitor, and just have NP++ and Gmod both windowed and switch between the two when I need to.

"-windowed -noborder" in launch options, enjoy instant alt+tabbing without losing the full screen feel.
EDIT: Nevermind, didn't pay attention to how far the topic progressed :p
I prefer the white theme. Nicer to look at in my opinion.
Notepad++
Garrysmod
Srcds
Chrome (On the wiki of course :P)
Navicat for Mysql Usage
Songbird open to all Flaming Lips
Vent (Chat with the other devs)
Excel Spreadsheet (I use this to store various information about stuff im scripting)
Single Screen
Notepad++ and coding
Steam -> Garry's Mod
Opera with Facepunch and GMod wiki
Headphones
Usually game music.

I'm not sure how I export it.
I'm not sure how I export it.
there is a file called stylers.xml in the N++ folder. upload that somewhere :D
I'm not sure how I export it.
note++ folder/plugins/config then the Gmod.Lua.xml
and
notepad++ folder/stylers.model.xml
Just upload those 2.

Place it in the root of npp I guess. It overrides the lua highlighter.
It didn't work for me.
Weird, and you changed to monokai and used the default highlighter?
[editline]06:09PM[/editline]
If globals are black then it doesn't work.
now i remember :x it was just the file in the theme folder >_>
then settings > style configurator and select it :p
EDIT: oops too late xD
It works now, but I'm too lazy to add all the GMod 10 Lua highlighting that I love.

Would that help grea$emonkey?
What does it do?

The semitransparent black stuff is Rainmeter. The clock is part of the Arcs theme, the rest is from Enigma theme. I edited the configs for the enigma clock so its in Coolvetica. Also, Since I'm running dual monitors I got a cool wallpaper, and thats why the right half of my screencap has a cool wallpaper. Heres a link:
