Servers typically aren't rendering stuff
Honestly, I couldn't care less. Its not my game nor my problem. The community is toxic anyway so I'd be doing the server owner a favour if anything.
I find that you're one of them who contributes to that cause as well. [Edit]-snip old- [Edit Edit] Tweaked it a bit. Detected all the Aero Games 'servers' and two others. Not sure whats invalid about the first one but nonetheless. I'll keep the script. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/14214411/arf/didanotherthing.png[/t] [Edit Edit Edit]The funny part is it detects ONLY french servers now (and Aero Games' "servers"). Also made it edit the info, rather than blocking the server. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/14214411/arf/DidAThing.png[/t]
I find that you're one of them who contributes to that cause as well. [Edit] Did a thing .. not sure if it is this bad. The fun part is 'Aero Games' is completely off the list. So I guess it works. (It displays the stuff it blocked at the bottom of the console) [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/14214411/arf/didathing.png[/t]
Are you comparing the server player count to the amount of names it returns with the query? If so, that is inherently flawed as people who are connecting don't show up in the actual player list until they're loaded in iirc.

Hey, so, change of topic here. In the non-dev linux client, if I press the green "Single Player" button and click any button that isn't "Single Player" since I want to create a listen server, the GUI becomes unusable.

OK, so, on the dev branch, client.so can't find some library. Already validated. Am I missing something?
Also having this, happened a few days ago and I just assumed it was a problem with my setup but if there's other people it might not be.
It's a bug with Awesomium and is fixed in Dev.

Same here, verified game cache as well.
Is there an intended release date for this update? (I know there is a dev branch that people can use)
Is there an intended release date for this update? (I know there is a dev branch that people can use)
Whenever ISteamUGC stuff is finished probably. Thought I saw a mention of January somewhere.
With all that server crash exploit stuff can we possibly get a hotfix for it?
With all that server crash exploit stuff can we possibly get a hotfix for it?
Yeah, I am thinking about releasing an update before switching to ISteamUGC.
Can the next update also include chromium? :v:
Can the next update also include chromium? :v:
Sure, if you want it to come out next year. In the mean time, have fun with your servers crashing and being exploited. So, when would you guys prefer the next update come out? [editline]10th December 2015[/editline] As far as I know, the only critical problems in Dev are Linux related?

Just waiting an extra month?
What's the difference between option 1 and 2? Just waiting an extra month?
Yes. [editline]10th December 2015[/editline] Ok, someone fucked up the vote, thanks guys, can't trust you with a simple vote. Let's do this again: Agree = Before 2016, No ISteamUGC Disagree = In 2016, No ISteamUGC Rainbow = In 2016 and with ISteamUGC

Wow that's a lot of votes.
So what exactly does the upcoming update break? :)
Finish your current goals, publish them to dev branch as usual, then work on the new steam API while people test dev branch, release the update to main (without the new, yet untested API) and make API changes available to test on dev, then release new steam API with following update.

Please let me know if the client.so thing still happens on Linux.
* Removed steam_linux * Fixed crash issue with PathSegment functions * Fixed (Lua errors?) printing twice on Linux srcds * Added CNewParticleEffect.__tostring() * Added CNewParticleEffect.IsFinished() - returns bool * Added CNewParticleEffect.IsViewModelEffect() - returns bool * Added CNewParticleEffect.SetIsViewModelEffect( bool ) * Added CNewParticleEffect.SetControlPointEntity( int, entity ) * Added CNewParticleEffect.SetControlPointForwardVector( int, fwd ) * Added CNewParticleEffect.SetControlPointRightVector( int, right ) * Added CNewParticleEffect.SetControlPointUpVector( int, up ) * Added CNewParticleEffect.SetControlPointParent( int, int ) * Added CNewParticleEffect.GetHighestControlPoint() - returns int * Added CNewParticleEffect.GetAutoUpdateBBox() - returns bool * Added CNewParticleEffect.Restart() * Added Entity.StopAndDestroyParticles() * Added Entity.StopParticlesNamed( string, bool removenow = false ) * Added Entity.StopParticlesWithNameAndAttachment( string, int attachment, bool removenow = false ) * Entity.CreateParticleEffect() now returns the particle object it creates
Latest changes.
Is it possible to add "workshop" filter to cl_downloadfilter? Would be useful in some cases.

Same as AeroGames, verified my cache as well.

In windows, you usually get this error too when tempering with something the client module needs, but when you attach ollydbg it shows you the actual reason, like missing reference penis
