I, myself, am having some problems with Derma at the moment. I've made a SNPC, which opens a Derma Menu when you press "Use" on him, and that works fine. But whenever I press a button, I have 2 which both should close the menu, nothing happens. I have to freaking spam the button to close the menu, gotta click like 8 times. If anyone's got a solution, I've already made a thread about this, so please reply there.
You need to set the use type of the entity (your npc :D) Wich totaly isnt located here Btw, SIMPLE_USE is the one you need:P (ive had this also)
NonExistent, this is awesome as hell dude. You should do a pre-release, whenever you're done adding the DPanels. For everyones sake :D I, myself, am having some problems with Derma at the moment. I've made a SNPC, which opens a Derma Menu when you press "Use" on him, and that works fine. That'll fix it. Ontopic: I wont be doing a prerelease until I've done all the basic controls :P
I wont be doing a prerelease
:ohdear:
-snip- [editline]15:41[/editline]
At that time, OP only contained: "I made this and it does that, does anyone want?"
Meh, still.
At that time, OP only contained: "I made this and it does that, does anyone want?"
I understand, that did look fake ;P
I may just try doing this in Lua. When I get time. So probably not for a while.
I'll give you a challenge at that. I'll probably start around June.
I'll give you a challenge at that. I'll probably start around June.
I'll start this weekend.
Bawww, I started a few months ago :saddowns:
Any news, NonExistent? I just made a DermaMenu for my previously mentioned SNPC, and that was a pain in the ass. The constant re-positioning of the god damn buttons, the Panel, the Label. Pain in the ass... What, what, in the butt - what, what, in the butt

What, what, in the butt - what, what, in the butt
Derma is always a pain in the ass, to get it at the exact pos you want, the color and stuff (that southpark episode was on TV 4 minutes ago >:Ð)
(that southpark episode was on TV 4 minutes ago >:Ð)
Really? lol, I just thought of it when I wrote "Pain in the ass." xD
I may just try doing this in Lua. When I get time. So probably not for a while.
Something like an in game generator?
DPanels are finished, and working quite well I might add :P
Will you be taking any beta testers? I wouldn't mind.
I'd love testing this out, as I need a couple of DermaMenu's done in the soon future :D
Beta testers? For this? Lool? xD Sorry but that seems a little strange.. I'll just make a beta release tommorow with limited functionality (wont have all controls as I wont have coded them yet) and get people to tell me any bugs they come across.
Meh, Beta Testers... lets say Bug-Finders or something then. :P
Buggy testers, we test out buggies before they are implemented into levels like in Half Life 2! Anyhow, can't wait for a beta, trying it out the first thing!
If there's something strange, in your new program, who you gonna call? Bug-Busters!
What is this being made in?
What is this being made in?
Visual Basic 6.0
Visual Basic 6.0
That was instant before I said it, I guess you could tell by the buttons :p It's only in that because I'm trying to get it done fast, and it hardly complains about anything. Not that it really matters like it does if you're making a server for something.
You should add the ability to output proper StretchToParent and PerformLayout functions. If so, I could see this getting picked up by a lot of people.
And suddenly, everyone is making Derma IDE's.
And suddenly, everyone is making Derma IDE's.
Just what I thought, one person does it and actually succeeds and others want to try again :P
Dude! Release this! You should also make one for DrawLibrary and Surface and stuff( to make menu's like Citrus Admin Mod) more complicated but A LOT more popular :D

It's changed a bit since the last screenshot. Here's an updated screenshot:
Looking good, mate. Though, where does the generated Lua show? By the way, it's Lua, not LUA :]
