ditto but my game mode will be half RP too, a way to big job for a noob
Build the largest base with the least lag for a reward? :P

That'll require a heavy amount of coding :P
In most cases the server would crash before the script realises the server has actually started
My friend gave me some pretty good ideas.
Gangs members would have to get a certain amount of drugs to a train, car, or group of people within a certain amount of time.
For cops there could be a random npc shootout in a store.
You'd have to be careful with some NPC's and the weapons you give them, they could be too powerful, or too accurate, or both.

Its very very easy to change both of those.

Ok, I'm sorry but do you even know what you are talking about?
1st off the amount of coding to do something like that would not be "Heavy".
2nd, what the hell are you talking about the server would crash before the script realizes it has started...Your talking like GMod is freaking windows 98 or something, it doesn't take ages to load scripts.
3rd Server wouldn't crash in most instances unless it sucks.
The guy above me is right. I was just afraid of getting banned saying that stuff.
That'll require a heavy amount of coding :P
Not really. It would be more like, setting up a timer and who ever has the most props (Spawned off of a given list) within a certain time span would then have to be voted to be the winner or some crap like that.
It's definitely possible and not hard at all if you know what you're doing.
is this for that space thing dark told me you and him were working on?
How about get from A to B in a jeep in a set time?
Sounds awesome.
How about a map where you have to gather objects while fleeing from rising magma or acid, allso running through obsticals, like duck jumps and such.
Basicly Survive and Gather

Following quote will help you out.
The mission system will be in my role play gamemode. I know, another role play gamemode. Mine will be completely different. I know, another person saying it will be.
Projects like this take a long time to complete. When Dark never helps me out with simple things like finishing a ship model he thought was easy to make, then I don't really feel like doing those things.
I have resorted back to role play because it is what I love to do.
Go north, kill seven Eight-Legged Horse Scouts; return, gain EXP, repeat.
On a serious note, it's an interesting and fresh idea, good luck.
The bird rocket launcher massacre that was cut out of postal 2!
Why not use the idea of, well not killing things? I mean, it's truly interesting running parkour style away from combine, or just barely making it to saftey in an air duct while being chased by an antlion guard. It seems to break away from the norm a bit, and it makes it alot more intense. Because a challenge isn't fighting a boss if you have a shotgun, a challenge is really escaping alive.
make an infiltration mission
a group of people are sent into a building and try to blow it up by planting multiple c4 around the map, and can only blow up the c4 once all of them are placed. the other teams job is to stop the other team by holding them off and defusing the c4, planting traps, etc. Basically a buildup of CS:S and CoD's sabotage/Search nad destroy.

I really like the way you think BananaFoam :D
Here's a mission
Escape of Nihilanth while freerunning.
