The Death Note - Developers

Hey grea$emonkey, picture this: Person finds a notebook, which is a deathnote. Person 1: Hey cool a notebook! I will keep it incase I need to write some documents! Person 2: Don't forget to write your name in it, incase you lose it. Person 1: Gee, thanks, I'll do that now. *Person 1 writes his name and age,17, in the notebook* Person 2: Good, now lets go get some milkshakes. *14 minutes later* 2 minutes later. Person 1: These milkshakes are good! Person 2: Damn right! 30 seconds later. Person 2: Hey dude, what do you think of that new Incredible Hulk movie? Person 1: Well I thought it was kind of... [b] URK! [/b] [i]SMACK![/i] Person 2: You were saying? THE END. Story is mediocre at best, but i feel it conveys my thoughts rather well. :) Also king of page 13! :D... Here's an idea, in the series people go to great lengths to prevent their death by protecting their identity. there should be a way to add names to the book instead of having every name in it, and also, have the name be removed once used. This way people could stay locked away in their base and be immune. I'm contemplating different fun games to play with this, and having some limitations would be good. Also, to add the names, if you have the special eyes, any players you can see are added (still with a button press) and then without, you have to actually hit them (Being closer would make this easier, so it would be harder). And as a payment for the eyes, why not cut the maximum health in two? Or disable use of suit energy, I'm not sure how that might be possible, but it's closer to losing half your life than just losing 50 hit points.

I'll probably make a target ID hook in this so you need to have at least seen the person before you can select it in the book.

How about for suicide the next time they use a stool on a prop that is welded It and everything attached to it gets dewelded and It sayd FUCK THIS and the knife from the suicide swep pops up on their screen and they slit their wrists. Also as for lights death if you look into the lightsaber swep you find a neat little effect that is displayed when using the force that resembles lights death a bit so you might be able to sue that

Not many updates for now. I'm just having some derma problems in multiplayer. It opens up 2 windows at a time for some reason.

So if your name was in the book, it is possible for a car to fall out of the sky and smash you? Suicide: Your next - touched prop, by the gravity, or physics gun will act as if you slung it - at your - self. Any bullets - that you fire will only harm you, and no - one - else - . - -

I have a random idea for a death a bunch of stalkers spawn around the player and scream at him then a no no no from the player then the stalkers all die crushing the player then all the courpses get sucked into the ground at the point where the player died that will be complicated but then agein would be interesting to watch such a death.

Too bad this'll either never be released or be released so late it wouldn't be worth keeping my hopes up. :( Unless... Go on, give us a release date!!!

How about some sort of Meteor strike or volcano eruption...Or maybe a freezing to death type thing, just some ideas for some deaths.

I skimmed through the pages and here is a another way for a person/NPC to die, if you are still taking them be cause like I said a skimmed through the pages. Lets just say a player or a NPC is walking around and all of a sudden they hear a loud but faint rumble coming closer, then all of a sudden you see a Combine Gunship smoking and partially on fire coming towards then player then bam the second it hits the player or NPC it blows up. Also I can not wait to use your Death Note, Sounds great so far.

You said that you had some trouble having the holder of the death note killing people? Would it be possible to have a car falling where the victim is, then right before the car hits - the holder of the death note just slays them? As I have no experience in lua I would have no idea if this is possible...

How about the player can't stop farting and dies of too small amount of gasses in the body.

Death suggestion: Death by laughter. (the victim spazes out like crazy and emmits a laughing sound for about 5-10 seconds then dies)

I just thought of a pretty good Death. A Sniper NPC (Hitman) Is sent to kill the selected player. Death by Hitman from an Enemy. :O

You should make the pannel look like the death note like it has the pages and then when you wrte a name down it should show the name being wrote down...
