I am surprised this is still around, so about that dysfunctional script, when can I have it? :)
When did I say I'd give it to you? It's still being worked into the gamemode so I see no reason to release the script. Someone else will just make a dumber version of it and release it under their own name.
Death causes: Paralysis. The player is ragdolled and cannot move. slowly loses health over time. say about 5 health per second. Virus. Their vision is impaired, they are unable to move correctly, mouse sensitivity goes way down. Health taken over time. Car accident. A car rides along and smacks them. Asthma attack. impaired vision, becomes ragdolled after about 10 seconds into the attack. Ebola. Player model is changed to zombie. They become weak, slow, cannot sprint. Blood sprays spawn where they walk. ragdolled and then dies. Seizure. Player's movement is no longer controlled by them. They randomly move and walk. dies Land mine. Basically explosion. Tool Gun Malfunction. Electricutes the player. as if their tool gun got shortcircuited. Airstrike. An airstrike on their position. Do I need to say more XD

Huge list of causes of death. Also contains a list of funny deaths. Hope you like them. Heart attack. They just die. Hit by truck. Truck prop hits them with great force. Murdered. Note #1 Being ignited. Obvious. Stray bullet. Note #1 Avalanche. Blocks of ice drop on them. (Like the ice chunks in Gooniverse, but very very heavy.) Explosion. Obvious. Going Berserk. Note #1 Transmutation. Turns them into an NPC such as a fast zombie and lets other players take care of the rest. Alcohol Poisoning. Their vision goes shaky at first, then sounds are distorted and their vision REALLY shakes, then they die. Could include throwing up if you know how to. Hanged. Ragdolls player, create's a rope from their neck to just floating above the ground. Then they die after X seconds. Stray government missile. Missile flies out of the sky and tracks them till it hits them, thus killing them. Will fire again if unsuccessful. Funny Deaths: Rick Rolled: Rick Astley's infamous song plays for 40 seconds on all client computers, and then their head explodes. Crushed by (insert inappropriate object here): Obvious. Killed by Dr. Kliener. Murdered by that freak Dr. Kliener. Public Humiliation: They forcibly say humiliating things and then suddenly die. Curse of the Cube: The companion cube stalks them wherever they go, then pulls a CS:S knife on them and knifes them in the back while laughing that insane laugh that any murder is incomplete without. Note #1: Something like the script in the Player Possessor Swep, except they do X action and are not directly controlled. Hope you have fun with that.

Good news, the deathnote is working again with some minor problems. I have a "death by lightning" made, but i need a good lighting effect. Can someone write me a small script to give a good effect? Also, I've found some ways to show when a death is impossible and made it revert to heart-attack when said instance is true. I have death by heart-attack, death by physics, death by NPC, and death by lightning. I'll make a drowning one too. Unfortunately, the derma is being stupid and the close button doesn't work. I have a way to get out of it but its annoying and buggy.
One question though, under what instances would certain death causes be unusable? Aside from the physics being unable to fit if it's going to be a car. Lightning would be inapplicable while indoors, but how would you pull off death by drowning when they are not near water? You can't just spontaneously teleport them to water. That would be cheesy. Got any planned effects for heart attack? Besides, we don't want them to be boring, now do we? [img]http://sa.tweek.us/emots/images/emot-monocle.gif[/img]

[img]http://sa.tweek.us/emots/images/emot-monocle.gif[/img][/QUOTE] Drowning doesn't work unless the victim is fully under water, lightning is unusable if the victim doesn't have the sky directly above them, and the car won't work if there isn't space for it. I still need effects for heart attack and am still planning that out.
If there's water on the map, you could make the person run to it, and let them drown. Dunno if that's possible, though. :(

So I got an idea for suicide (or possible other death) Death by hanging. A death entity appears over the victim's head and a rope connects the Shinigami and the victim. This obviously represents a hanging and upon doing so the victim is ragdolled and is hung some distance off the ground...just enough to distinguish they're off the ground.
I have enough death ideas. I am sure there's nothing good anyone can suggest that hasn't already been suggested in the past 18 pages.
