This is BEYOND awesome! This'll do great for traps but might be a bit mingey at first...multiple deaths maybe? Oh, I've got an idea too, actually several: (Be warned I haven't read Mod's post because it's too fucking long >.<) Meteor Storm Poison Cloud Acid Drop Ion Cannon (LOL epic) and Spontaneous Combustion (fire ftw :D).
Making all of those deaths that mod posted and then putting them all in one huge epic video would be awesome!

I remember the death note stating that a death written into the book will not happenif it's not possible. So... For a car crash: If their are no vehicles nearby, the player or npc will simply just die of a heart attack. For fire: If their are no burning objects nearby, the victim will have a heart attack again. (Maybe if they are standing near a fire, a part of the flame will spit at the target.) Well, you get the idea. You may decide how this rule will apply, because you created this youreslf.

I've already said multiple times that I've integrated that rule.
Here's something that I'm trying to make into a post processing effect. It's L's death when you hear the heart beat sound. It's all within about one second, but this would be kick-ass as a heart attack effect! I'm using motion blur as a base, but I'm not sure how to render a bunch on the screen at once in different positions that are also in different colors. It's cyan and light red, but I have no idea how to make it work. Ideas: Time! Wouldn't it would be pretty awesome to write somebody's name in the notebook on a whim and be able to have it kill them five minutes later. Watching somebody go around building etc. unknowing that they are going to die in 3 minutes is half the fun. Seriously, if you aren't already planning this you NEED to put it in. It could be as easy as having a text box for you to type the number of seconds - if somebody types the time in then the death is preformed then, if they leave it blank it is preformed immediately. Drowning would only take place the next time they get into the water AFTER the time has run out.

It would be silly to check that 40 seconds earlier.
for gun malfunction, they could have it shoot, bounce off stuff, and hit them for suicide, an rpg XD ya they could have the crowbar sticking out of their ribcage :P and a few suggestions are: seizure: they have an epileptic seizure and die (twitch around a lot) falling: they could fall off something really tall gone: they just vanish, presumed (and are) dead trapdoor: they fall into the world and die cartoon: something silly falls on there head like an anvil

Based off the falling idea, how about a tower suddenly rises out of the ground beneath the victims feet, lifting them up, then disappears so they fall and die? EDIT: And the normal falling death could work by shoving them towards the nearest edge.

I thought of a way to do the falling toward the nearest edge and a possible idea of how to make a player walk toward water if they are close to it, but it would be hard.
Perhaps manipulate his movement in the same sense that Cheesylard did with the new Durzgmod. If he's near water, make him walk in that direction, and paralyze the rest of his controls.
i got a suggestion how bout when the victem dies the deathnote holder can hide his body and hope no one finds the body
I thought of one that probably wont make the final cut but STD they start ramming into another person and then fall over and it will say they died of a STD from a list but the STD is random :D Also this one would probably be REALLY hard but awesome RPG they get in a random fight with a monster (with the screen scroll thing) and then it shows it earthbound style but you act like porky (he just does random stuff instead of fighting) and you could get in a fight with a zombie or headcrab or antlion guard but that one would probably be REALLY hard >_> Poisoning:they find either a burger,pizza, or cake and eat it, but its poisoned so they die Assassin:they see themselves in a slightly shaky sniper scope cross hair and get shot; the "Boom. Headshot" sound from TF2 plays shortly. The function GM:CreateMove() should work.
