Will limbs be destroyable if they receive enough damage? As in if you shoot an npc in the face with a pistol enough his head will come off, and if you continue shooting the head, it will break into gibs which will then fade away after a moment. Just a suggestion, personally i think it would be awesome to nuke someone using garrys bombs and have them just evaporate, as apposed to falling into pieces and getting pushed to the edge of the map.

I will have destruction of limbs, but only from MASSIVE EXTREME damage, to prevent them getting stuck and such. So nukes, blenders etc will destroy them, but not bullets or grenades.
But just to clarify, a magnum to the head will still knock it off the body, right? Somehow, having it turn into a skull wouldn't seem very satisfactory.

I agree. In GibSplat when you shotgunned them in the face or used a magnum on their head it was so unsatisfactory when all it did was just make the head pop off like some cartoon. It should blow chunks like Fallout 3. It should do the same for the shotgun too. I think when using explosives exploding the npc should always give a 25% chance to knock off the enemies legs or make them have the beat up layer. In Gibsplat one firing a RPG at the floor next to the NPC would knock off it's foot which seemed pretty bad.
What about Liberal Crime Squad style, hits head blows up into pieces, hits chest blows in half, hits face slicing it clean off.

But yeah, there's gotta be cvars. Not including cvars would be highly unethical.
I'm mainly concerned that the ability to smash bodies into sections and limbs with contraptions/props will be taken away. Cvars to make that element toggle-able would be ideal to satisfy those of us that like cartoon violence.

Also for just one small request can you PLEASE make the hitting sound when thrown against the wall or falling LESS louder farther away? It's annoying doing an npc battle from far away. Here is what it sounds like to me.
*distant gunfire*

*SPLAT*
*ANNOYING BONE SOUND BREAKING*

It would be perfectly fine if the mod made sounds at a distance less louder. Also only play the annoying bone breaking sound when you REALLY injure it like having a limb torn off. Not when the ragdoll just killed slumped over and had his torso on the ground. It sounds so unrealsitic when you shoot a kliner with the pistol to the torso and its like *SPLAT* *BONE BREAKING NOISE* when he just slumps down.
The above post is right. I find the bone smashing sound really annoying, especially when I hardly hit the ground.
Also i've been wondering, not trying to rain on your parade ralle but what is the point of having the skeleton? Will the skeleton only appear when the corpse is left for a while? I can't think of any weapon thats already in the game to actually remove the flesh but leave the bone so I would find skeletons to be impracticable. If you coded a laser weapon that removes the flesh but leaves the bone it would just turn out to be a gimmick and another swep already does that. Is the skeleton really needed?
